Hi,i thought i'd better warn any possible users of the 'Gardening Express' website that the bad reviews for the site are quite genuine and not 'one offs'. I recently tried to buy four grape vine plants which turned up a month late, one was dead and another was actually a gooseberry plant.The support ticket system they have in place for their many annoyed customers (which is the only way of contacting them and now i see why) never seems to be looked at, i'm still waiting for a reply 7 weeks on as i still want to return the (still dead! )vine and gooseberry plant. As for the girl on this site who tried to defend them saying about seasonal availability,the vines on the web ...

Warning - Stay well clear of Gardening Express. Two months after placing an order & them taking payment, some of my order still has not arrived and what did was not very well packaged therefor damaged. Following their web instructions raising support tickets doesn't work as they are ignored, I've sent 6 in total. This company has absolutely no redeeming qualities. I wish I'd checked web reviews before ordering. At least, unlike some of the other customers, I did receive some of my order and I'm trying to nurse the poor quality plants back to life. I don't give GE any star rating but to allow this review I had to tick 1.

I too have been taken in by Garden Express. Took my money and haven't delivered, following the path as described by other victims - do nothing until challenged then say the order was sent today. But it wasn't and there has been silence ever since. I have written off the £156 spent but have not written off pursuing recompense. All injured parties should keep at them.
