I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GARDENING EXPRESS
back again, as after the bulbs came with the voucher placed another order, and it has already arrived, A-ok. This all within a couple of days. Lovely quality plant, in a bright pink pot! This is the link to it. . . .

DO NOT TOUCH GARDENING EXPRESS WITH A BARGEPOLE!
I placed an order with them and the same day they sent an email saying my payment hadn't gone through and for me to pay again, which I did. My tree arrived, but when I checked my bank statement they had taken 2 payments. I contacted them through their stupid support ticket system, as that is the only way to get hold of them, and they told me another tree had been dispatched. I only wanted one tree! After raising numerous tickets, I am still left with 2 trees as they want me to send the other one back with me paying the postage!!! I do not trust this company to refund my money if I do send it back. They are absolute CON MERCHANTS, DO NOT USE THEM

My experience with GE was great from the beggining however that didn't last. In March I have ordered 2 palms which have been delivered to a wrong address and ever since i am chasing this issue, mainly support ticket as there is no way i could get through their phone lines. I have ordered some plants from them, but they did not deliver them when they promised and when I finally got them, there were just 3 from 11 plants I had ordered. I have spent half of the day trying to talk to them, as nobody answered and finally when I managed to speak to them and they have promised to call back, nobody did. My advice is buy somewhere else. The delivery is rubbish!

Ended up after many attempts going to small claims court to retreive money. they paid up after they received the summons, lying that they had paid me before the summons was issued. DO NOT USE. They paid me to ensure that they didn't get a CCJ, but I am sure I wouldn't have got anything otherwise...

Awful company. I contacted them for five weeks via e-mail, postal address and phone but never received a response. Asked for a refund several times and never received a reply. They supplied me with dead plants and the wrong plants but they don't care! I am currently having to chase them through avenues such as Consumer Direct. Only order from these people if you enjoy being ignored, stolen from and having your time wasted. I can't believe these people are allowed to trade at all. My suggestion is to buy from a website called Crocus who have a wonderful service. I wish I had never heard of Gardening Express.

Do not order from this company, they will take your money, fail to deliver and then fail to respond to your emails or 'tickets' raised on their website. They have a phoneline which simply rings out.

This company is awful, I orginally place an order on 25th April 09 for a Clematis aromatica. I called a number of times as it hadn't been delivered, also raised a status ticket and after a month of chasing I received a Clematis on the 30th May, and yes it wasn't the one I ordered, I've tried so many times at all different times of the day to get a response and have never managed to get through, you stay on the phone for 7 minutes and then they state they are unable to take your call! I've also raised two status tickets and the problem is still unresloved. Find your plants somewhere else as this company are awful and they aren't cheap either!

Please do not buy from this company. They will take your money and fail to deliver any goods. They have been reported to trading standards and other organisations because of this practice. Their website looks good but don't believe what you see

Do NOT order from this company. Check out the reviews here and on other easily findable review sites. The only thing you'll receive is non-existent service. We ordered several items from them and are still waiting. This included a pair of Buxus Balls for outside the front of the house. They sent one which was thrown over the fence by the courier ... GARDENING EXPRESS glad it is not an emergency!! last year I would of recommended this company infact I was singing their praise I have been trying by phone, by email, opening tickets to get my plants and veg that I ordered in Febrary. Six weeks ago I started asking for a refund. Still no reply. I will now be going to the local trading standard after reading of so many unhappy custumers. Do not use this company

It will take something miraclous to make me use Gardening Express again. I ordered a tree as a gift. It was delivered whilst the recipient was away (so unsigned for) and did not grow once planted. It was sent back to Gardening Express and that is where contact has ended. They do not reply to the tickets raised, they do not respond to letters sent, they do not respond to messages left on their answerphone that says it doesn't take messages but asks you to leave a message at the end of the recorded speil. No refund has been offered, no replacement sent, no apology of any sort. This was a great gift idea that has turned sour. Maybe the odd customer does get an order on time, but 12 months later I am still waiting for a response despite raising a new ticket regularly.

Ordered on 12 April, payment taken from my account on same day. After 10 days of no plants in sight, contacted the CO by way of a "ticket". No response - a further 2 tickets raised, no response! Googled them, to find this was not unusual for this company.
Took advice and sent a recorded delivery letter - requesting full refund and advising they would be reported to trading standards. Miraculously - 2 days later - ALL the plants arrived, in season, in stock, in one go. AMAZING. Would NEVER use this company again as they only respond to a recorded delivery letter.

My palm arrived crushed by the shipping company, sent a support ticket, and was instructed to email an image so they could verify the level of damage, and persue UPS..... replacement duly arrived within the week. I call that hassle free, quality service - most companies would want me to send it back to get a replacement, not these guys, so well done for your friendly fresh approach GE.

Do not use this company. Very quick to take your money but only sent half my plants, they have a phone line with one person answering calls that goes to "due to the heavy demand" at 1 minute after they open and stays like that all day, and their reply to any online queries is random and continually hedging for time. They are not professional about anything.

These guys are a joke - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM WHATEVER YOU DO - WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! The quality of the trees were AWFUL and then didn't hear a word back from them when I complained. I have reported them to trading standards and they are pursuing a breech of contract case for me.... If you have already been stung by them please get in touch with your trading standards authority who actually are fantastic at helping out.

Fantastic service. I was going to cancel my order after reading the bad reviews. They sent me a free plant by express delivery for me to look at. It was great. 3 foot ivy for 5.99. Better than you could ever get at a garden centre.
I got all the rest and they were equally good quality.
I also got told that there is a web campaign to discredit this company by competitors which is absolutely outrageous.
