The Lightspeed Research Panel is a market research site. It works like most survey sites do - you sign up, fill in some information about youself and then they email you invites to surveys.

I get emailed about two surveys a week on average. You click on the link in the email and it takes you to their website. Like all sites, you do get screened out, (often after asking several questions, which is dead irritating!) but I signed up about seven weeks ago and I have filled in seven surveys so far. On average they take about 15/20 minutes to fill in and they are mostly consumer surveys.

On Lightspeed you get awarded points for filling in surveys, which can be used to shop on the Lightspeed site - you can buy appliances, giftcards etc. I've not bought anything with my points so I don't know how good that is. I have redeemed my points by getting paid through Paypal, the pay out limit is really low at £1 so no waitng ages to get up to the payout limit, you need a certian amount of points to get up to being paid - I've just earned £3 and that was 345 points. I 've earned just over £6 for doing the seven surveys, so not too bad.

The best thing I've found about the site is the speed of the pay out - only about four days for them to transfer to Paypal - really good, especially when compared to Ciao, which took four weeks!

You can also do competition surveys and matching surveys on the website, but I haven't really bothered with them much.

It's defintely one of the better survey sites out there, Ok I'm not going to be a millionaire through it but, to quote Tesco, every little helps!
