The website genie.co.uk has changed it’s name to O2.co.uk This has happened due to BT Cellnet (Old mobile part of British Telecom) changing it’s name to O2 after moving away from BT. O2 is formed from five mobile companies across Europe, and Genie, the mobile internet portal. This opinion is mainly covers sending text messages via 02.co.uk The services are still very good. Its fun its free- its pure Genie! Welcome to Genie! Genie is one of the most useful, but also the most frustrating, websites around. I have been a faithful Genie user for a couple of years now. My e-mail address is with them, I constantly use their WAP service on my mobile. I've even ordered a mobile phone from them in the past. So why did I choose Genie? You must give your mobile number, so they can you a code which you must type in on the website to confirm your sign-up. Genie.co.uk is a very interesting website. It offers many services and offers access to lots of information. I signed up to genie as I got a free CD with a mobile phone I bought.
