I have looked at quite a few sites that will get your domain name for you (if it is available) and there have been rather heavy fees involved plus a heavier ones for hosting your limited site. After weeks of thought and wondering I decided to go to getdotted and I am so glad I did. I was able to select my domain name with ease and, within seconds, found if it was available or not. When looking around to register my own url, i was attracted to getdotted.com due to the attractive prices offered. A domain name can be bought for as little as 8.99 for two years, however this can rise steeply to over £30. Payment and registering the domain name was simple, cheap, efficient and quick. So for anyone wishing to register a domain name i would recommend getdotted. HOWEVER, getdotted works in tandem with a freeloa, a service which offer to host your domain, give you unlimmited email addresses and unlimited web space. If you want a domain name, I would highly recommend looking here. The site is part of a bigger organisation called freeola.com but the names are very cheap and you get all the trimmings for your site. There are however a few drawbacks, including annoying access laws. On the site there is a very fast domain checker that will tell the user if the name they want is taken or not. The service checks all popular domain names like co.uk, .com and .net. But is also checks the availability of the new ones like gb.eu or .no.eu.
