The Website

I actually came across this website after reading a review from another member on ciao and I decided I would give it a look. This particular website sells a range of designer labels at discounted prices. The items include clothing, accessories and footwear for men, woman and children. Some of the branded items on here include Adidas, Bench, DKNY, Duck and Cover, K-Swiss, Lacoste, Levi, Rockport, Umbro and many more. There is at least over 60 different brands featured on this website, most of which you will probably have heard of before. The main website is quite colourful and bright with offers on the main page. The offers scroll across the page and this change from time to time. At the very top right hand corner of the website you can search for a product and select your country. There are tabs near the top of the page enabling you to browse the category you want. I will go into more details about each of these tabs shortly. On the left hand side you can enter your e-mail address to sign up to their newsletter and it also states that students can get an extra 10% off all purchases. It also has other things down this side such as if you review a product you could win a prize. It also tells you like their page on Facebook or to follow them on twitter. On the bottom of the page it displays a selection of brands hat are featured on the website and you will also find other information such General information which includes Size Guide, About Us, My account and more. There is also a Customer Service section which includes Terms & Conditions, Delivery & Returns, Contact Us, FAQ and more. The final section is titled Quick Links which includes Men, Woman, Boys, Girls, Sale and more. Now more about the items which are in each selected tab.

Bargains to be Had!

Just to give you an idea of some of the bargains available on the website I have listed a few examples of some different items so you can see how much money you can save by shopping on here:

I purchased at least 5 items from here including 3 pairs of jeans, a belt and some boots that were in the sale. Although the total price of the items came to about £90.00 due to this being designer labels, I actually saved myself well over £100.00 on the original price of the items which I thought was a bargain. Of course I don't really know if these items really are worth as much as they say for the original price or not.

Shopping
= = = = =
I found shopping on the website very easy as I knew what I wanted. I wanted some new jeans and after reading a great review (by Chemical Romance), I decided to purchase the same one's she had written about in the review which were by Henleys. In my local high street shops all I can seem to find is Skinny leg jeans which really don't suit me and I wanted some nice bootcut jeans that I could wear with trainers or my timberland boots. I simply hovered the mouse over ladies and then clicked on Trousers, Jeans & Leggings. On this page it bought up all the items in this section. On the left hand side you will see some options; I selected Jeans so the page just showed Jeans. You can also select the brand you are looking for as well as the size and colour. The results will be displayed after choosing the specific items you want. You don't have to select any of these; you can just browse the whole collection if you aren't sure what you are looking for. The results come up very clearly showing a small picture of the jeans, the colour and stating the brand underneath as well as the original price and the reduce price. You can click on the grey Info tab to find more information out about the product or you can click on the red Buy Now tab which will take you to the product so you can choose your size. When you click on the button to either find out more information or to choose your size you can see a larger picture of the item and also different views such as the back and front view of the product. In some cases such as shoes you can also see the side and underneath view as well.

Some information about the product is displayed next to the picture such as the material and what type of cut the jeans have. The sizes are then displayed below and you simply click on the side you need and then add to your basket. You can also add this to your wish list or e-mail the link to a friend as well. There is a small box underneath the sizes which tells you the different delivery charges depending on which shipping service you wish to use. Simply click on add to basket to add the item to your basket. Your basket is located on the top of the page and it will tell you how many items you have in it and the total cost and total savings you have so far. If you click on your basket you can remove items or change the size of quantity of the items you already have in your basket. When you are happy with your items you can choose other choices such as delivery options. I selected the delivery option of 3-5 days which cost £3.95, but you can also choose next day delivery for £5.95. The cut off for next day delivery is 4pm.

Checkout/Paying for your Items

If you have never used this website before then you will need to register and create an account, this only takes a few minutes and you just need to fill out your basic information such as name and address. You will also need to create a password for your account as well. This makes is easier should you decide to shop on the website again as it will save your address details. You can also choose whether or not to subscribe to the newsletter which will be sent via e-mail to your e-mail address that you have provided. You don't have to subscribe for the newsletter. After filling in your address and other details you can then process with payment. You will need to enter your billing address if different to the main delivery address you have already entered and then you will need to enter your card information. The website takes Delta, Visa, Maestro, MasterCard and Amex. You also have the option to pay via PayPal if you wish. I decided to pay using a card so I entered my information and confirmed all the details and then paid for my order. On the website they have the 3-D SECURE option, where a password for the card is required. This is for a good level of protections for customers when paying for goods on this website. Payment will be taken when your items are despatched, not at the time of placing your order. How-ever if you use PayPal, funds are debited immediately from your account. After placing the order I received an e-mail confirmation of the items I had ordered and what delivery service I chose. This also had an order number and customer number on it so I could contact them if I wanted to enquire about my order.

Delivery

The day after receiving the order confirmation I received an e-mail stating that my order had been despatched. Although I chose standard delivery which normally takes 4-5 working days I was impressed at how quickly my order was despatched. I got sent another separate e-mail giving me information about my order which included the tracking number which I could use on the Hermes website to track my parcel. When I clicked on the link in the e-mail to track the parcel I could see detailed information about the parcel such as what times the courier received the parcel and where the parcel was. When the parcel was delivered it stated what date and what time the parcel was delivered. I found the tracking information brilliant and can't fault the delivery service at all.

Receiving the Items
= = = = = = = = = = =
The items came in a large, strong plastic bag which had Get The Label in bold silver writing at the bottom of the bag. There was a hole in the bag but it was very doubtful that any items would have been damaged or lost. I cut open the bag carefully using some scissors being careful not to cut through any of the jeans I had just purchased. The jeans came individually wrapped in plastic which had the brand name of the product on. For example the jeans I ordered were Henley's so this along with the logo was on the plastic bag. The boots I ordered came in a box with the brand of the boots on it too. There was a hole in the lid of the boots but after careful inspection the boots were fine and were not damaged. A delivery note/invoice came with the items and it confirmed the items I had ordered. You can find returns information and the returns from on the back of the invoice. All the items were as ordered and there were no problems with the items that I ordered.

Return/Exchanges
= = = = = = = = = =
If you wish to send you item back for a refund or exchange this must be done within 21 days. If you send an item back after this time the item will be re-send to you and you will not be refunded. When sending items back you need to fill in the returns slip which can be found on the delivery note. This is self-explanatory. Postage costs will only be refunded on faulty items/goods. You can find more information about their refund/exchange policy on their website. I luckily didn't need to return anything so I can't comment on the process of this.

Overall Opinion
= = = = = = = = =
I'm glad that I found out about this website as it's perfect for buying a range of items and I now actually have some decent jeans that are really comfortable and good quality. The website is easy to use and it's easy to find items by using the search or simply by just browsing the different categories. They have a great range of items on here for all occasions whether you want a new outfit for day or night or just some new clothes to treat yourself you can find some fantastic bargains on here. In terms of value and price I do think they are fantastic value as the jeans I purchased are obviously worth more than £24.99 due to not only the brand but due to the good quality of them as well. I was extremely impressed with the delivery service and the fact that I could track my delivery to see where it was. Delivery was really quick and a lot quicker than I actually expected. In terms of using the website and my overall experience of using the website and ordering from them I can't actually fault them in any way as I was updated on the progress of my order and was given plenty of information about my order and the whereabouts of it. I can't actually deduct any stars on the website and delivery side of things but this could be damaging to your wallet due to the brilliant prices of some of the items on here. I will be shopping here again and I would recommend the website to others.
