Overview Encyclopaedic gaming entertainment website founded by former gamespot writers Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis. It features a blog and a weekly podcast. Review Giant Bomb is a site born of contreversy. Co-founder Jeff Gerstmann was editorial director for Gamespot and incredibly popular with users. His sudden unexplained departure from the site late 2007 remains to this day a hotly debated event. At the time this was serious, earth shattering, stuff. For those of you who play games, its almost certin that you know of the website Gamespot.com Its a very good website. Giving reviews and previews to pretty much every game for the last 10ish years. On this site they have a show every thursday called 'on the spot' Now this used to be really good. However in the last year, the best people from it either left or were fired (and no-one knows why). Well there is hope, in the form of the Giant Bomb. Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis have teamed up to create their own gaming website. Now this is nowhere nears as extensive as gamespot.
