Globaltestmarket.com is a US based site which pays members for participating in surveys as part of their market research.

I have been a member for just over a year now and have received around £150.00 from them.

The website is very easy to join, just visit globaltestmarket.com and sign up, you will need to provide some information such as name, address, e-mail, phone number etc and some of this information is used to make payment to you. I receive a cheque by post and this usually takes around 4-6 weeks.

When you participate in a survey you are awarded marketpoints. Most surveys start at 5 points (for participation when you get screened out due to unsuitably) and go up to anything from 10 to 150 points. I find that out of the surveys I receive I probably manage to complete at least half of them and I earn an average of around 500 marketpoints per month.

Once you have joined up to the website it is important to complete all of the profiles such as household information and basic information and this will allow them to choose and send you surveys which are relevant to you which should help to stop you getting screened out and therefore increase the amount of marketpoints you earn.

The website is very easy to use and the surveys provided always seem to be very relevant. I check my e-mail account twice a day and would recommend checking as much as possible as some surveys will fill up within an hour or so and others may take days. I receive a survey most days and like I said before I don't get screened out constantly which I have found with some other sites.

Once you have got to 1,000 marketpoints you can visit the website to redeem your points for cash. 1,000 marketpoints is equal to $50.00 and you will receive the £ equivalent to this when your cheque is sent. My last cheque (two weeks ago) was for just under £33.00.

This is a highly reliable website and I have never had a problem with my cheque arriving. I would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking to earn some extra money online, but do not expect a get rich quick scheme.

I would recommend visiting the website once a week to check that your profiles are up to date but you could do this once a month if you have less time on your hands than me (probably likely!).
