As paid survey sites go Global Test Market is definately one of the better ones. The fact they pay for every survey you attempt even if you don't meet their criteria is a definate improvement on the likes of Lightspeed and Toluna who ask five minutes worth of mundane questions before informing you that they already have enough people meeting your demographics. Better still if you don't qualify for a survey you usually discover this within a minute of starting the survey so very little of your time is wasted.

Their sign-up process is straightforward with the exception of the required telephone field which doesn't accept phone numbers in a UK format or number length and repeatedly comes up with an error message. The only way round this seems to be to provide a US format telephone number and e-mail them your actual number at a later date.

The site is US based and pays out at 4 US cents per point. Each rejected survey is worth 5 points or 20 US cents with surveys varying between 35 and 75 points and taking 5-25 minutes to complete. Payment is converted to your home currency and paid by cheque within 6 weeks of your payment request.

The surveys themselves are clearly laid out, well phrased, their requirements are extremely well explained, pages load quickly and most of all the surveys themselves are fun to complete. They also offer a lot of product tests covering a very wide range of subjects. In a normal week I receive an average two surveys a day from them.
