GlobalTestMarket is one of the few survey websites im a member of. I've been member of Globaltestmarket for about 7-8 months now and thought it was about time I wrote a review on what globaltestmarket have offer.

GlobalTestMarket is an American survey site that sends you checks for completing surveys. They ask people from all around the world to complete surveys about anything form going to the cinema to buying electronics.

I signed up to GlobalTestMarket by going on there website (www.globaltestmarket.com) and clicking on join at the top of there website. Next I filled in the information that they asked for (Date of birth, email, name and address) and clicked on submit. Once I clicked submit globaltestmarket sent a message with a link to my email account to confirm my globaltestmarket account. Once I clicked on the link my globaltestmarket account was up and running and was ready to recieve surveys. On your account there will be profile surveys that you can complete. You do not get rewarded for completing these surveys but if you complete them it can lead to more survey invites.

To participate in surveys you need to be invited to them by Globaltestmarket. There are two ways you can find out if you've been invited to take a survey 1. Check your email account or 2. login in to your account on there website. I usually check my email 1 to 2 times a day to see if I have been invited to any surveys. Sometimes I get 1 survey invite in 2 days and sometimes I get invited to take part in 5 surveys in 1 day. Even though I get lots of surveys invites I often get screened out as I don't match the criteria needed to take part. Out of all the surveys I've been invited to take part in i've probly only qualifed to complete a quatre of them.

For fully completing a survey you will receive market points or sweepstakes. Marketpoints are what you want as when you get to a 1000 you can redeem them for a check of $50 which is around £31. The points you get rewarded depends on how long the surveys is.

5 to 10mins = 15 marketpoints
10 to 20mins = 35 marketpoints
20 to 25mins = 40 marketpoints
Over 25mins = 60 marketpoints

Sweepstakes are entries into weekly and monthly competitions. I think the weekly competition is $300 and the monthly one is something around a $1000. You will recieve one sweepstake entry into each of these competitions if you get screened out of a survey. Some surveys will offer you 3 sweepstakes into each competition instead of marketpoints. I've been a member for 7-8 months and have never won in there competitions. When recieving survey invites I always complete the ones that offer me market points first. I only complete sweepstake surveys if there are no market points surveys for me to take part in.

Market points can be used for checks. When you reach 1000 marketpoints you can redeem them for checks in your currency. On there website it says 1000 marketpoints are worth $50 and in pounds that is around £31. To redeem a 1000 points all you have to do is login to your account on there website and click on rewards. Next click on redeem and check your address details are correct. A few minutes later globaltestmarket will send you message to tell you your check is on its way. It usually takes me 2 to 3 months to reach 1000 market points.

Checks usually take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered to the UK as its being sent from Canada. I have recieved two checks that were worth £31 each and they took 6 weeks to be delivered.

Yes they do, apparently you can be invited to focus groups and product testing but you rarely get invited to any of these. I have never been invited to a focus group but I have been invited to test a product once. I was invited to test a product after completing a survey about alcohol and if I agreed to take part I would recieve a bonus 1000 marketpoints. I jumped at the chance and agreed and was told I would receive the product in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I received the product in a box and 2 pieces of paper telling my what I had to do to recieve my marketpoints. It basicly said record a 5 min video of yourself drinking the product and giving your opinion of it. A few days after sending my video I recieved a survey asking me what I thought of the product. Once I completed the survey I was told my bonus 1000 marketpoints would be added to my account in the next 28 days. (I completed the survey mid november). After a month and a half I never recieved my bonus marketpoints and was a little dissapointed but the product was free to test so there was 1 or 2 positives. Then out of nowhere I recieved a bonus 1000 marketpoints a few days ago. I checked my marketpoints history and I had been awarded 1000 points for a related survey so Im guessing that was a late payment from the product testing.

Overall I think globaltestmarket is one of the best surveys sites you can join that sends you checks not vouchers. Its easy to sign up and use there website, you get lots of surveys invites and if your lucky you may get invited to test a product for some bonus marketpoints. The negatives of the site are you get screened out of surveys alot and checks take 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered but the positives overcome the negatives. This is a survey site I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to make a few extra pounds.
