Gmail is a web-based e-mail client created by Google inc, I have found that using gmail has been a very pleasant experience and that I think it is the best e-mail client out there.

Gmail offers you a copious amount of space so that you will never run out ( unless you are very ver very popular!) and is a fairly no nonsense e-mail client that doesn't differ all that much from something like hotmail which used to be my preferred choice. The seemingly small differences overall add up to quite a lot and is why thousands of people are now switching, I have personally seen my gmail account now act as my -primary e-mail account with my hotmail account only used for services that I am already registered to or to be used as a backup.

Once you get used to it, the user-interface on Gmail is incredibly user friendly and one of it's main selling points, I like how when you get a reply it doesn't spam your inbox with another reply but simply refreshes an older e-mail that you have received from them on the same topic, in this way it almost looks like a conversation and allows you to see what was said in earlier e-mails much quicker!

I also like how Google Mail comes with it's own other features like google documents which are a handy way of storing little notes if your are not using your home computer as you can access them from anywhere once you sign in to gmail. Another big bonus is that the spam filter actually works! As a result my inbox is now no-longer full to the brim with potential russian brides all of whom are apparantly perfect for me. There is also a greater deal of customization on gmail, I like how the backgrounds on gmail can change depending what time of day it is.

Overall I have found Gmail a great e-mail client and I can't recommend them enough!
