As for the booking process on the website, you input, as would be expected, dates, times and destinations and the flights are listed, cheapest first. It is a simple process, and can take only a couple of minutes before it is confirmed. You can choose to have a confirmation emailed to you or posted to you. I prefer post because somehow I think it's a bit more concrete! And the confirmations have always arrived within two... more

I now feel like something of a veteran with Go and have used them many times, each time booking through the website. The website is clearly presented and easy to understand with options in all the languages on whose routes they serve. Prices are automatically defaulted to local currencies depending on which language you select, so for example, if you decide you want to book in italian, rather than english, the price will be quoted in lire (something to bear in mind regarding exchange rates). Online booking is simple with Go. You are first given a choice of 6 languages to choose from. Then click on Book flights. You then put in your to & from airports...which is Stansted in the UK. If you decide to book, then click book. If you want more quotes then click the button ... Read the complete review

You pay for any food or drink you require and there is no on board entertainment like video's or radio. You can of course always dig out the onboard magazine with all the facts and figures about GO and it's fleet of aircraft. My trip to Madrid cost me £60 a head in the height of summer last year and was excellent value for money. Alicante was £115 again good value when you consider Read the complete review

Launched a couple of years ago in what was seen by cynics to be nothing but a calculated attempt to make Easyjet go bust, Go are the 'value brand' of British Airways and now fly to a wide range of European destiantions. In my experience, they're pretty good. My last flight with them was to Lisbon. I boarded a clean new plane; it was on time; the staff were perfectly friendly. I had to pay for my sandwich but at least it was something I wanted. Costs vary and are subject to the inordinately complicated structures of all the budgets but they seem to go to most places for under a hundred quid. They do quite a few tie-ins with newspapers as ... Read the complete review
