Being a footy fan you need to hear all the latest news plus gossip from across the world. There is no other website better than Goal to do that with they are split into different sections with a UK version and a European version this has been done to make it easier to read about the news on the site. Each day the amount of new stories on the website is just crazy! They have about over 100 different new stories its mostly on the big teams but I have noticed the small teams are getting featured more.

Now the site has a lot of writers who end up writing stories they do different topics. They have debates, jokes and even write up some fake stories just to make all the readers laugh.

When the transfer season begins its all hectic on Goal because you get so many stories that are not true. It has already began with them linking the likes of David Villa to Manchester United. Fernando Torres to Real Madrid these type of stories that you know are not going to happen any time soon are often written on the site. The publisher also puts down a source close to the club so they really have no source they just make it up! It can annoy you as these rumors do end up getting big and its obviously seen on the comment section that people do get upset.

Hardcore football fans are on the site to on the comments section. Some racial abuse often occurs and swearing on the comment section which has yet to been sorted out by the Goal team. When a match is on you do get text by text on the play so its not a bad site really to catch up with the football news.

Each day there are new stories here but remember most of it is likely to be gossip. Any one who is a football fan will easily agree that the site is more up to date than Sky Sports and even BBC Sport.
