Google is the most visit website on the Internet, and it is mainly so popular because it is also one of the best websites on the Internet, and withoutn a doubt, the best search engine that you will ever come across. Before I started using Google, Yahoo was my main choice when I needed to find something on the Internet, however, this site seemed to be too cluttered for me so now, I use Google as it is a blank page with the search box and the logo in the middle. This site is so good that I have set it as my homepage. This site attracts millions upon millions of visitors every day, and the brilliant thing is that unlike other sites, this one doesnt crash when it gets loads of users at the same time.

If you are trying to find a website, but only know a bit of information about, they all you do is type a few keywords into Google, and most usually, it will provide you will millions of results. Once you have pressed the search button, you are drawn to hundreds if not thousands of page, which contain links to websites which are most related to your search. In addition to this, you can press a button called, "I'm Feeling Lucky" in which when pressed it will take you directly to the first site most relevant to your search. It doesnt matter what you are looking for, Google will have the results for you, and I often use for research.


Once you have recieved your search results, and you think that you have way too many for you to look through, they you can further search these results, like filtering them out. You can do this as many times as you like and eventually, you will be left with only a few results which have been deemed most appropriate to your search, its brilliant. This site really does try its best to make searching for information easy. Not only can you search for websites, but there is also a feature in which you can search for pictures which is handy, and as far as I am aware, they arent copywrited.


One of the most recent developments to Google would have to be Google Earth in which you get satillite images of the Earth and from this you can look for directions and get an approximation of a time frame for a journey. They are coming up with new stuff all the time so Google will never become boring.
