Google has now become a household name and is used by millions and millions of people worldwide. Fundamentally Google is a search engine and a very effective one. As I'm sure you are already aware Google now deliver's much more than this and it really has expanded from just being a search engine. I have used this as my homepage for many years and for a good reason!

What I love about Google is how simple the interface is, I find Google far easier to use than other alternative search engines such as Yahoo. The results that it displays are generally exactly what I am looking for which is very useful. This allows you to find exactly what you want much more quickly and effectivly.

Google also features an excellent image search and does have a phenominal resource of quality images available. Searches are so quick which is ideal for finding out something quickly. Definitions may also be ound by searching 'define:' and then the word you want the definition of.

When at the Google homepage it is also very easy to go into one of the free Google services that is available. For example the mail service and the map feature which can be accessed with the click of a button. The features available on Google really are exceptional and the resources it has available make it what it is. I like the fact that advertising is to a minimum and the overall sight simplicity.

I love the fact that Google changes it's logo slightly on special days to match a theme. The whole image of Google is a user friendly colourful design that is great to use. I can see exactly why it is so popular and long may it continue. I hope you found this useful and thank you very much for reading.
