Google is an excellent search engine that I use every day.
What I like about google is the search within results feature found at the bottom of the page. this is a great way of narrowing down your search.

You can also use the search images or videos feature if thats what you are looking for.

Received an email about working from home?

Some bloke on TV telling you to buy his on book on buying foreclosures and gaining financial freedom?

Should you buy the book on playing the stockmarket this guy on TV is selling?

Simple! just google it

Type in the guys name and the name of his book or whatever he's selling, you could also add is it a scam?

Ignore the websites with the smiley faces of happy customers and pictures of their bank statements. Go to the forums and read the postings there. You can usually tell the genuine comments and reviews.
There are many scumbags on the web trying to take advantage of people financially. A few seconds on google can save you from that.
