There are literally hundreds of search engines available on the internet varying from specialist search resources for MP3s, hardware drivers or sporting events etcetera to the major all inclusive search engines. In most cases it is the major engines which would be required for finding that elusive topic or information.
Over the years I have used many different search engines with reasonable results from most, but my favourite is certainly Google.
Apart from being a great resource which lists a tremendous amount of sites, Google has a first class image search facility.
The main page provides a choice of search formats, with the option of selecting an image search. Simply select the subject which you wish to display and you will be presented with a page of fingernail images instead of links.
The service makes it so simple to find the picture required that I would not even consider using any other source for this purpose. So if you require images to use as desktop wallpaper or to enhance your stationary, try Google.
