Advantages: Lovely small tasty snacks to try
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
Graze.com is a website where you can sign up to get small snacks posted to you on a regular basis for a specific cost per delivery. I was recommended to use this site by my friend and had a free box off her as a welcome for joining the site.
The idea is that as regularly as twice a week or once a week if you prefer, you get a box through your letterbox with 4 delicious healthy snacks inside. The snacks can range from olives to dried fruit to crackers and dips. The variety is immense and they are all based around their nutritional value and how healthy they are.
When you sign up for the boxes there are over 100 snacks for you to rate on the website in order for you to try the snacks which you want to. You are required to rate each snack as either 'Bin', 'Try', 'Like' or 'Love'. If you bin the snack they will never send it to you. This is handy if you are allergic to something or would never want to try a particular thing as you can be reassured you'll never receive it. You can also specify if you want to receive a mixture of just 'Try's or would like more of the snacks you rated as 'Love' etc. You can also update your ratings at any time. If you love something they sent you can ask them to send it again soon or bin something you hated!
The snacks come in a flat, square, brown cardboard box that fits through your letterbox. The box is divided into 4 sections and each snack comes in its own little plastic container with a peel back lid. The use by dates for each snack is on the leaflet enclosed in the box. I have been lucky so far with any use by dates as they are always a bit in the future but I have heard from someone that they cancelled their subscription to Graze as they kept receiving snacks that expired within a day or two, not giving her long enough to eat them.
The cost per box is £3.79 but if you know someone who already gets these they will be able to get you at least one for free if you sign up for a few boxes. You can cancel the subscription at any point as well.
Everything I have had so far has been gorgeous, especially the dried apple crisps with a toffee sauce, although I could have just drank that sauce on its own it was so nice! You can also not feel too guilty about these snacks as they are based around a healthy diet.
Summary: Great variety of healthy snacks posted through your letterbox!
