Advantages: Convenient healthy snacking delivered straight to your door
Disadvantages: Bit on the expensive side
I had been wanting to try out Graze for quiet sometime, but it wasnt until a Groupon offer caught my eye that i parted with my money and gave Graze a go. The Groupon offer was a bit of a bargain I must say and would recommend anyone interested in giving Graze a go to keep an eye out on their website!†
The concept of Graze is wonderful and unique. Basically it is a online company that sends healthy and nutritious boxes of nibbles and snacks directly to your door. Each Graze box costs £3.89 and contains 4 plastic trays of different snacks. Fairly expensive, but when you consider that first class delivery is free and that the contents of each box are of a very high standard it seems fairly reasonably priced. The boxes themselves are slightly larger than A5, meaning the postman can put them throught your letterbox and no signature is neeed, so very convenient. They are cardboard and easy to recycle. You can choose the day you wish to recieve your box (excuding Sundays, bank holidays etc). I have a box delivered every friday, but you can pretty much have boxes delivered whenever wanted. They are never late, and I really look forward to receiving them. There is also the option to pospone boxes, if you are going away on holiday for example. Boxes can be sent to multiple addresses, so would make a great last minute present.
Graze offers two Different types of boxes. You can choose from Nutrition box or nibble box. The nutritious box would be best suited to those that wanted to snack on super foods. We chose the nibble box as there was more choice and variety. I†have been really impressed with all the boxes i have been sent so far. Each box has been different and interesting and very enjoyable.†There is plenty of choice including, but not limited to, Flapjacks, Fresh bread, Dips, Olives, Chocolate, Pure fruit, Nuts and Popcorn.†
Here are some examples of some of the boxes i have been sent
Box one: Cherry tomato Basil and Puglian Pesto focaccia, Toffee apples (Slices of granny smith apples With a sticky toffee sauce), Herb garden (Herb and onion Peanuts, herb Baked bites and oregano Rice crackers) and copacabana (Milk & dark chocolate buttons and brazil nuts)
Box two: Fruit and seed flapjacks, Black pepper pistachios, Poached pear (Pear, sultanas, vanilla sunflower seeds and lemon infused sultanas), Black pepperdoms (fruity mango chutney With black peppercorn rice crackers)
When you sign up Graze recommends that you log on and view the differenent snacks avaliable. You have the option of rating each snack which is really useful. You can either bin it (meaning you will never be sent it), try it, Like it or love it. The bin it option is particulaly good to ensure you do not get sent a type of food you dislike. For example i hate cranberrys so i "binned" everything containing them and therefore never got sent anything i didnt like. You can change your ratings whenever you want and this ensures that you only get sent the snacks you like. All snacks are suitable for vegetarians and there are plenty of vegan options.†
Graze boxes are fairly expensive but are of a high quality and standard. If your lucky enough to find a groupon offer i would definately urge you to give it a go. However, other discounts are avaliable including getting your first box for free, so if you would like to give one a go just message me and i will send you a code.
Personally i love graze box. I find it a really convenient way to eat healthily. Instead of munching on a bag of crisps and bar of chocolate on a friday whilst watching tv, I now grab my grazebox :)
Summary: Healthy snacks delivered to your door
