Graze Box A Good Way To Eat Healthy
Member Name: cutebliss
Advantages: convenient, healthy, tasty
Disadvantages: a bit expensive
I know there's a lot of reviews on the graze box but I just feel like giving my own opinion. Everyone I'm guessing knows what a graze box is so I'm not going to go too in detail. A few points:
- comes in a cardboard box easily fits in the letterbox no need to wait for postman!
- free delivery
- current price £3.89
- 100 snacks too chose from but if you choose a healthier snack box less choice!
I knew that you could get a free box for some time but I wasn't totally sure if I wanted to try it as I had to put in my card details in but recently I took the plunge and went for it because I love healthy snacks and these days its hard to find tasty snacks so conveniently. The thing I love about graze box is that they make delicious fruit and nut mixes so you don't have to go and get boring repetitive ones from the shop and I know theirs a lot of people saying they can make most of these themselves but really who has time to buy bags load of different nuts and fruit and chocolate and make different varieties and what if you get bored of something you end up wasting it. Stuff like walnuts are really expensive and you wouldn't really want to buy a bag of it you could just include it in your box whenever you feel like it. So considering the idea that they make everything for you and send it off for free it is really worth the money if you look at it in another direction.
Secondly people have the misconception that they cant really decide what they want in your next box, you can only choose what you love, like and want to bin WRONG! you can choose what you want by clicking sent soon on certain items so you most likely will get it and if you click on your name on the graze websites theirs a option called preferences were you can choose how to select your food i clicked 'i would like more products that i like and love'. So when I first started graze i didn't let them choose my first box i binned all the things i knew i didn't want which is anything savory or olives because I have a massive sweet tooth and anything that looked not too tasty too me and clicked like and love on the things i knew i would like just by looking at so i could try it out by doing this I had more options. Its as simple as that.
I heard people who cancelled there boxes got another deal like 3 more boxes half price and things like that and because I love my graze box's I decided I would click the cancel boxes and funny enough they gave me two box for 2.99 which I am happy about. I am normally a person who doesn't like to waste money on expensive things but graze box are my little indulgence so I would like to stay with them for some time. I'm using the money from survey sites to help me fund for them so its even more worthwhile. My graze box lasts me two days only because i try and beat the temptation to eat the whole thing on the same day and yeah I do still snack on biscuits and things but this at least replaces a few of those biscuit moments! Makes a nice dessert replacement too. They might be only a small portion of everything but then again it could all teach us portion control!
So to finish of my long review I am just going to give everyone my short review on everything I got so far:
Slightly sweet popping corn- Okay when I got this I was expecting a slightly sweet popcorn but not to sweet this really dissapointed me because I couldn't taste any sugar at all! So yeah I ended up dipping my finger in sugar as I ate it! It comes in a decent packet size but popcorn is cheap something I could make at home this isn't really worth spending money on. I BINED this
Carrot cake with tea - the carrot was really moist not enough of it but it was still nice and the tea was different but nice as well and as I am a fan of afternoon tea and biscuits I hope they send me this sort of thing regularly.
copacabana (brazil nuts with Belgium dark and milk chocolate): its like having chocolate peanuts but as we all know Brazil nuts are healthier especially for the men! I like the idea it had dark chocolate i'm not really a fan but because its healthy and there were a few milk chocolate buttons in there so its worth while and its not too much of a indulgence I had one nut with one button and surprisingly everything was equal amount the chocolate and Brazil nut ratio.
Date and Banana Loaf - I think the combination of the fruit mix really complimented each other and its one of your 5 a day! so its a win-win situation.
marvelous macaroon- this has coconut, amarettii drops, almond slices and white chocolate buttons, i know this sounds weird but it tasted a bit like bake well tart to be honest ,this mix isn't nothing special but its a nice occasional mix to have.
Summer Berry compote- I'm not really sure about this one it feels like dipping biscuits in jam which I find a tad bit weird , I like the shortbread and I like the sauce but together? not too sure however i still like it as biscuits are my utter weakness.
billionaire shortbread- I like this mix because I don't really like the sour taste of cranberries but the chocolate and fudge pieces with almonds mild it down a bit however sometimes the cranberry taste can come out more then the rest of it but all in all its nice enough I don't mind it.
Summary: a healthy treat
