Advantages: User friendly
Disadvantages: Pay less cashback than similar websites
Greasypalm is one of the market leaders in terms of online cashback sites. Grasypalm are paid an amount of money by their affiliates, every time someone clicks through their page and purchases something. Very simply, Greasypalm return an amount of this money back to the shopper so as to encourage shoppers to use the links on their website.
Setting up an account is all very straightforward and a helpful tutorial shows you how to start earning cashback. The site allows people to review cashback providers so shoppers can use the most reputable partners. Greasypalm has many partners that are listed by category. You can also register a bank card to start earning you cashback with specific high street partners too such as JJB Sports and Halfords. However, in order to withdraw any cashback, you must earn £20. I would say this is pretty straight forward as I managed over £90 in 2 months and this was paid straight into my bank account. Many partners such as Lovefilm, give £10 cashback for a 2 week trial. This can be cancelled at the end of the trial. You then pay nothing and still receive the cashback.
In conclusion, Greasypalm are one of a few companies that offer cashback free of charge. However, they take around 50% of the affiliate cashback. In contrast Quidco, deduct £5 from your first sum of cashback but do in fact pay you the whole sum of the cashback afterwards. Therefore, I would suggest this represents better value for money in the long run. If you have any questions please ask as this is a scheme I have used a lot.
