In essence Greasypalm is a cash back site which allows you to get cash back on purchases. Greasy palm covers a range of areas such as finance, electricals, travel, books, DVDs, etc.

HOW IT WORKS
By clicking on a link through this site it takes you to the site of the product and you buy as normal. You're then creditted with cashback! For example: I want to buy Twilight on DVD. I go to Greasy Palm and search for HMV. HMV.com is there and I use the link to get to the site. I then purchase as normal through HMV. Instantly I get a credit onto my greasy palm account. This is often only 1% or less but it actually does add up.

ADVANTAGES
There are numerous different options where you can get cash back for. For example, you can get cashback for changing credit cards, buying flights, trains, CDs, electricals, energy bills, etc. There are a lot of different retailers and some very, very prominant ones namely lastminute.com, the trainline, Late rooms, Halifax, HMV, Ebay... I could go on! There are also non spend cashback options which can help. Money is paid by BACS when you receive a certain amount and you do not have to request it, it just happens.

DISADVANTAGES
It can take a while to credit you and you have to chase things up. You also have to acknowledge a complaint within a 150 days or you cannot get the cashback which is a nightmare. Late Rooms are a particularly bad one!!

OVERALL
I like the site and it isn't exactly difficult to click trhough them. I think people with houses and families often benefit more than I do as they can swap suppliers, etc where as I have no need to do that. I think every little helps so no harm eh?! Also, Ebay is on there!!
