I used to think that hitbox was merely a website that provided a means of monitoring visitors to your web site. I signed up, but then used other site monitoring services (see my opinion on humanclick).

But I let them continue to send me their weekly newsletter - and I'm glad I did. It is packed with great tips on how to develop your website and solve all those niggling little problems that otherwise would leave you scratching your head. Here is a selection of recent topics, just as a taster for you.....

...error codes (what they really mean)
...css (cascading style sheet)
...html (but of course!)
...unix/dos stuff
...web safe colour chart (what colours are best to use on web pages).

If you go onto the web site they have a very detailed section where you can search for previous newsletters that they have produced. This really is a tremendous resource area and I often take a look for things in here first.

There's also a section about flash with guidance on how to get started and links to some very useful free flash. Go take a look maybe.....
