If you use Holiday Extras you get a nice evening in a quality hotel and basically get free parking for the duration of your holiday.
The above website is what I would recommend you use when you have booked your holiday. Just fill in the dates on the easy to use drop down boxes. Click the search button and a selection of hotels will come up. Just chose one and it will tell you if the parking in included, along with the transfers to the airport. You may have a small charge for the mini bus, but most include this in their price. You can also chose several options, depending on which hotel you want, some offer onsite parking, some offer airport parking, and some secure (nearby parking). You can, for a few more pounds get a chauffer to pick up your car from the hotel and then pick you up at the airport. We have used this option a few times and it just takes the stress out of travelling.

Mine starts, as I am sure your does, so you will agree, when you leave your front door on the day of departure to your chosen destination. Well, in this case may I suggest you give this site a go.

I go to Cyprus once or twice a year and if I have an early flight I always book a hotel combined with parking, which is included for up to 15 days (usually) with Holiday Extras. The service is efficient and easy; you will receive a confirmation email and just print this off for proof on arrival at the hotel. (That simple).


All you do is make your way to the hotel and check in (park your car in the hotel car park). Then in the morning drive about ten minutes away to the secure car park. Then pop on the mini bust to your terminal. The hotel is just less than five miles away from the car park and the bus run every ten to fifteen minutes, which on this occasion was included in the price.


I paid £99 for two weeks parking and one night in a four star hotel at The Arora near Gatwick Airport, which was lovely and relaxing before I started my journey. It is nice to have a dinner out the night before and the hotels all do dinner (bit pricey, but I guess this is how they make their money).



Our flight was at 8.15am and we live in Dorset so quite a long distance and we would have needed to get up about 3am if we decided to go straight from home. I would highly recommend reducing your stress, and the risk of something going wrong on the day of travel. You know how relieved you feel when you have arrived at your flight destination, so go the night before and then just chill out.
