I have been using this website for 3-4 years now and almost every package holiday I have been on has been listed in the site.

*About the site*

The site is basically a load of reviews from members of the public about package holidays they have been on. People submit their reviews which give you information on the accommodation, who the person flew with and holidayed with, which travel agent the holiday was booked with and sometimes information about the resort. There is also a box on the home page which is full of links to other sites which gives you access to car hire, booking flights, travel insurance, airport parking and hotels etc.

*To read a review*

To use the site go onto www.holidaysuncovered.co.uk and click "Click here to enter" on the right-hand side. Click on the down arrow to the right of the box "REVIEWS - Select destination here" and select your destination. The country will be listed as well as the resort. Click the button "Get the Reviews!".

Wait a couple of seconds and the reviews will appear in the big box on the left of the screen (you have to scroll down a little to get to the beginning of them). The hotels/apartments are listed in alphabetical order. Scroll down until you find the accommodation you want to read about. The information that is given is in order of accommodation name, operator and dates visited, when the review was submitted, resort rating, accommodation rating and then a more detailed review. Once you have read the review don't forget to keep scrolling down as it is very often the case with larger hotels that there will be more than one review submitted.

*To submit a review*

Click the "Add YOUR Review" button on the bottom right-hand side of the screen. Read the ru
les which will appear in the box the reviews are written in.

Scroll down and select your holiday destination/where you went. Then scroll down a bit further and type in the name of the accommodation you stayed in. Then type in the tour operator you went with, then type in your name and where you are from, then give the resort a rating and the accommodation a rating by selecting Average, Poor, Good etc from the lists. After you have done all that scroll down a little further and write your review in the box. Once you have written your review, scroll down even further and click Submit.

You can be as honest as you like about the resort/accommodation as this website is used by people booking a holiday and it's important to share your thoughts and opinions, whether good or bad, with others!! This website has been very useful for me and I have used it several times.

N.B. This website only rates package holidays, not timeshare resorts etc.
