Advantages: Plenty of memory

Disadvantages: They delete account after 30 days of non activity

My first ever email address was with Hotmail. I then abandoned and moved to Yahoo, but recently I had to set up an email address for some websites I signed up to and decided to try good old Hotmail.

I must say that compared to Yahoo I think it is better. It is less prone to bugs and also more intutitive to use. I find that the way you organize your email contacts is easier. In terms of memory there is enough memory for my likes. I believe they still use the policy of disactivating an account if it is not used in 30 days, and this is the only reason for concern, since I may forget to log in. I am not using it for personal contacts yet, but I have stored few emails from different websites I signed up too.

Hotmail was also known to be very invaded by spam, but so far I did not have none. I have been with the new version of Hotmail for 2 months.

I think it is better than Yahoo.

Summary: A good free email facility

Windows live mail is irritating.

This review barely touches the features of Hotmail although obviously you are still getting around the new email account. Once you have used this for a couple of months, return to this review and add some more of your experience. If you do update your review let me know as well! Nar2
