I was never much of a fan of hotmail as I found in cumbersome to use nd prone to a few faults, for a while every time I tried to access my account it would prompt me to sign in again to read a mail and it was a continuous loop so I stopped using it however now it has been upgraded and it has a lay out more like outlook express and as such is a lot easier to use.
Hotmail is a free e-mail service provided by microsoft and can be accessed from the msn website. It si easy to set up, you first ave to choose an e-mail address and the system checks to make sure it is unique, then you need to decide upon a password that should be a combination of letters and numbers for extra security, you then provide a few personal details for which there is no verification and a back up e-mail address and once you accept the terms and conditions you can start using it.
I find it works pretty good, is easy to set up new contacts which are stored and it also has a junk mail filter. I tend to use it for some websites where I'm likely to get junk mail and in that way it is similar to yahoo but the new lay out I find is a lot better.
