Hot or Not is a website that allows you to rate photos of people and tell them whether they're hot, or not.

All photos on the site are uploaded by real people and the website is free to use and quick to load. A simple set of options allows you to choose which gender to rate and which age range. Above each picture is a series of numbers (1-10) which you click on to cast your vote.

The design of the website is pretty minimalistic, focussing on a large image for the person you have to rate. Once you've rated one person, a new image is loaded and you get to see the last person's overall rating as well.

If you want, you can upload your own image for people to rate. I did this around 10 years ago and actually got an overall score of 9.4... something which I kept going on about for weeks afterwards! (I've got uglier as I've got older, so don't think I'd reach those dizzying heights if I signed-up today).

Users can add their own mini profiles for people to see and you can even contact people on there if you think they're particularly nice.

One of my favourites parts of the website is the Best Of section, which shows you the most popular picture for each day of the last week. These are usually women and they're usually smoking hot! ;)

It may sound like quite a seedy idea, but Hot or Not is actually just a bit of fun. No nudity is allowed on any of the photos, although there are other "specialist" websites for that kind of thing...

To date, almost 26 million photos have been uploaded and over 12 billion votes have been cast.
