What's happened to the format? - Advantages: It still exists - Disadvantages: It's harder to log in, It's difficult to find my way around, It no longer displays everything I want to know on one page

I'm constantly amazed by how long people manage to make opinions on not very much, so when browsing through this category I couldn't believe that every other opinion on this item extends to multiple thousands of words, very entertaining (especially alkaliguru's) but not all strictly on the subject in hand.
