Advantages: Great place to meet and make new friends!
Disadvantages: Very addictive!
It was Monday the 8th of April 2002, when a young man came up with an idea that was soon to fascinate the whole of Dooyoo, like they have never seen before. ILoveJackDaniels is a member of DooYoo, just like all of the rest of us, but his brilliant creation means he has become a favourite to us all. http://www.hotshotsdesigns.co.uk/tooyoo is the web address of the site, it may be long, but I?m sure that one day there will be a much shorter domain available. With a similar logo to DooYoo, you can tell that both of the sites are matching and for DooYoo users only. The welcome page is really nicely set out and tells you what the URL of your own guest book will look like, for instance mine is: http://www.hotshotsdesigns.co.uk/tooyoo/book.php?u ser=LauraElliott, and if you want one then you just have to follow the easy sign up steps and your guest book will have a similar URL to mine, apart from my username will be changed into your own username. Hopefully in the future, DooYoo will think of combining a guest book in with their own site, but until now, the unofficial TooYoo is a fantastic alternative! Like I said before...it is as easy as 123 to sign up, all you have to do is choose the link on the welcome page that says 'please register here', and then fill out your username, password and verification of password. A good thing is that the site is so secure that no information you give is passed on and any abuse seen happening (which is very uncommon on TooYoo) is able to be reported to Dave (ILoveJackDaniels) himself. Once signed into TooYoo, things couldn?t be simpler. There is a colour changer addition in which you can change all of the colours of your guest book settings. My one at the moment are all in icy and pastel blues, but this frequently changes with my mood and my change of mind. You can change the colour of the background, text, box colours (like with the members names in them) and bars etc.
r> When you want to post a message in anyone else's guest book, you just find them on the site (I'll explain an easier way to do that further down the page), and then type in your message like you normally do when writing a DooYoo opinion, in a text box. There are so many options you can do to change your text and jazz your messages up, here are just a few of them: This would appear in BOLD if it was written on TooYoo This would appear in ITALIC if it was written on TooYoo This would appear in UNDERLINED if it was written on TooYoo [br] This code makes the text typed afterwards move down to the next line [p] Leaves a space between the text You can also brighten up your messages with smilies such as :) and ;) which turn into little animations or pictures. You can see who's online by looking at the top of the TooYoo screen and then seeing what member's are currently on the website and how many guests are also present. If you want to contact any of the members, then all you have to do is click on their name at the top of the screen. if you are looking for a specific person or friend then all you have to do is go to the 'Member's section and browse through the A-Z member directory listing. You can even see the top ten newest members and the member who most recently joined gets a special feature on the page at the top, so that you can welcome and introduce them. Another fabulous feature is the chat room, all you have to do is click on the chat link at the top, and it starts automatically connecting you to the chat room. Usually there is only a couple of people in there, but it is very friendly and they will try to get you settled in and get to know you better. You can make so many new friends on TooYoo, that within a few days your Circle of Friends feature on DooYoo will be full to the brim! Also...it helps with people reading your opinions an
d ratings, but that isn?t the ONLY reason you should join TooYoo, if that is your only intention (to increase your reads), then it isn?t the place for you. Just before the TooYoo guest books, he also made another fantastic website known as Random Dooyoo. http://www.hotshotsdesigns.co.uk/random_dooyoo is the address to type into your browsers. It allows you to just click randomly for a random opinion to appear, that way it makes it easier for you to check out different varieties of opinions and also qualities. Head over to the TooYoo guest books now and meet lots of new friends today...I recommend TooYoo to all DooYoo users, it's not something to be missed!
