Advantages: Good Fun , A good way of making friends, Free to use
Disadvantages: None!
After being a member of this site for a few weeks, I discovered that you can apply for your very own guestbook on the 'Tooyoo' site - so I signed up for one back in August 2002, and i'm glad that I did! Basically, it's the same as any other guestbook, except you get your own personalised guestbook that can be altered to suit your own tastes(see below), where other dooyoo users can leave their messages in, and where you can talk about almost anything! There is also a general guestbook where you can interact and chat with other users all at once, without having to leave individual messages for different people - it's very handy. Dooyoo seems to have a good 'community spirit' feel, so Tooyoo is a good way of keeping in touch with other members just informally - you don't have to write long messages to other people (if you don't want to!), and there are a lot of other users who have a guestbook too, and you can chat with about stuff on dooyoo or whatever you like! I generally use my own guestbook to sometimes let other users of dooyoo know i've written another opinion, so they can check it out if they wish. You should keep stuff about your own reviews in your guestbook only. I usually use other people's guestbooks to tell them if I liked their opinions, or just to chat to each other. You can also use a 'private message' function, so you all your comments sent to another member are private between you and them. Many people on here already have a guestbook, and all the people I have met on the Tooyoo site are friendly, kind, and many of them will leave a welcome comment for you, if you choose to join up. Although i do not use the site frequently as I would like to, it's still great fun, and interesting to meet other users who you might not otherwise know. It's also a good way to get to know other users. For your own guestbook, you can personalise it yourself by changin
g the colour of the backgrounds and the text, to create your 'perfect' kind of guestbook, that is to only your liking. You can also choose from a variety of smilies and other effects, such as using bold and italic text, so as to give your messages a different and interesting feel. You can also choose to be "invisible" if you just want to pop in from time to time to check your own guestbook, rather than stay and chat to other users - if you do this, you're user name will not appear at the top of the screen on any of the pages on tooyoo. Overall, there are no disadvantages to using the Tooyoo website for your own guestbook, and if you haven't got one already, then what are you waiting for? I strongly recommend that you do, becuase you won't be disappointed, it's well worth it to keep in touch with the people on dooyoo, there's always plenty to talk about.
