Hotwire.com is an American site, offering discounted hotel rooms, car hire, flights and cruises. I have only ever used the site to book hotels, however have found this part of the website extremely easy to use and I have saved a significant amount of money booking accommodation through this site. Prices on the site are based in US$ and tax is added on top of the price shown once you go reach the checkout. Therefore the exchange rate can have a big impact on the final cost.
