Advantages: Nice to know about prie and other details
Disadvantages: Intellectual reviews
The category I read most on Dooyoo is film reviews. I am actually starting to realize that there are much more movies around that I could think of!
What makes a good review for me?
Ok, first of all, I like when I start reading a review and there is some sentence or paragraph at the beginning which sets me for the review. In other words, I want to "feel" from the beginnning if the reviewer enjoyed or not the movie.
Mind you, when I say "enjoy" I mean whether the reviewer would recommend or not this movie.
An idea of the plot is good, but I do not think we should really been given away the plot, and unfortunately this happens many times. I also want to know a little bit about the cast, but if you have a good website link with the list of actors, that will do with me. I do not think this is plagiarizing. One way or the other you would have to copy the list of actors from some source, unless you know all of them by heart!
Some people know about cinematography more than others do, they can comment on the screenplay, on the director's view and all those things. Nice if you can add something, bu, please, do nto be too intellectual!
Fially, the price. I know that some guides will strongly disagree with me, but I do care about the price. Where did you buy the DVD? If there is a special offer at Tesco, or Amazon, let me know. To be honest, you may review a movie I like, if you write 150 times, "there is a special deal for this week only at Amazon and you can have it for 3 quids" it is a very useful review for me!
Summary: Any deal out there?
