Advantages: Loads of things to learn, and they can be learnt easily !

Disadvantages: Too many people are scared off by HTML

I love htmlgoodies.com. I ahve tried for a year now to learn html and always got bogged down by the standard of tutorials i saw, they were always so massively over-detailed and complex, then i saw Joe Burns site and gave it one last try. Everything here is well covered, and all the tutorials are really easy to follow and work through. #
There are lots of little tutorials, and it extends beyong simple HTML, to things like java, DHTML, XML and others. It is superbly laid out and all the tricks the site uses are explained so you can use them as well.
I have been using this site for a couple of months now and consider myself a decent html'er, i find it easy to understand now, and recently invested in the book java goodies, by the maker of the site, i will soon buy his html goodies book too.
