If you work on the emphasis that it’s more of an interactive poll where you are pitting your wits against others who also want to win prizes and earn ‘BetchaBucks’ then you’re half-way there in working out what this site is all about (it is in essence like Flutter.com but no money is involved and it’s everybody against each other rather than one-on-one).

‘BetchaBucks’ unfortunately can’t be redeemed like ‘Beenz’ but the satisfaction that you knew all along the result of an event and that they didn’t is surely good enough reason to celebrate.

The communities are also an integral part of why it’s so good where you can recruit ‘BetchaBuddies’ along to bet on almost anything from sports and entertainment events to news and offbeat events (such as executions!).

If you don't like the events they suggest to bet on, you can make up other 'bets' for people to bet on, on the most trivial of matters (and you get to even judge them!).

Strangely enough this site is the work of Israeli programmers but most of the emphasis is squarely on the US events.
