Advantages: Exclusive news, Lots of topics

Disadvantages: Have to pay for some sections, Site is sometimes slow

IGN is the best site out there at the moment for video games news. It is updated every day from Monday to Friday and they also post cheats and reviews of new games. The reviews themselves are really great compared to some on the web but there have been some reviews that have been totally inaccurate when compared to general reception bu other magazines. They also provide news and reviews in other areas such as Gear, TV, DVDs and plenty of others. I don't look at these very much but they do have some exclusive interviews and news and it is generally good quality. You can pay a monthly fee and access extra content, I haven't done so and I don't think I will as there is not really anything in the IGN insider section that I am too bothered about and you can get most of the usefull info free. It is easy to navigate between sections although the site is quite often slow to navigate between pages, and the video player embedded in the site isn't particularly user friendly.

Summary: Brilliant website
