I find that there are a number of video game websites that I keep returning to, to find out the latest news from the industry and IGN is the main one. The site has news sections for all the main games consoles like the Wii, PS3, Xbox and DS. Each section is updated throughout the day with the latest news regarding that particular console.

I love reading the articles especially during the busy times of year like E3 where there will be key-note speeches and IGN provide key summaries, pictures and videos that we would not normally have access to. Best of all this content is free so there are no membership fees required to view the main content of the site.

As well as focusing on video games there are also sections for music, tv, film, gadgets and many more. IGN has a lot of diverse content and is very useful for keeping you up-to-date in things that you enjoy and have a genuine interest in.

My only criticism of the site is that sometimes the articles can be a bit boring and short when you would've like a bit more detail but this is rarely the case.
I also enjoy reading the blogs of members on the site and generally there is a good sense of community on there.

Overall a very informative site which is nicely laid out and everything is very easy to find!
