Advantages: good range and detail of services

Disadvantages: not groovy enough

I use iii regularly to keep track of my investments because of their handy portfolio pages... these do much the same as many other online portfolio tracker sites but it seems to offer most of the different services....

...these include: tracking the market news of your stocks and shares,
tracking the total cost and profit on your investments, ability to trade directly online (although i don't use their service), internet forums for most uk equities(a service made famous by Motley Fool) and they also offer lots of detailed charts and data about the companies you choose.

The reason that i choose this site over others is...

(a) Motley Fool send me regular emails which tend to annoy me... i haven't really explored their site yet so that is my only complaint against them.

(b) Comdirect because i can't track my total investment on the same page as my watchlists of different companies.

III could do with being a little more people friendly as i still feel that it is less groovy and more businessy than Motley Fool in image.
