Advantages: Good all round financial site

Disadvantages: none I know

As someone who enjoys dabbling in shares, I find iii an excellent source of information.
They offer a complete range of financial services.
You can build your own portfolio on them, get access to current share prices, buys and sells, graphs etc.
There is a good bulletin board service for sharing views with others. And you can request alerts on when prices move below or above amounts.
The site is very user friendly and easy to navigate round, and they offer a good email service of relevant items.
As well as share info they are a very good source of information on anything financial eg. credit cards, savings, ISA's etc. And they offer good breaking news stories.
You do have to be careful with some of the bulletin boards however. They are increasingly being taken over by time wasters and rampers. They are amongst the most used bulletin boards, so you will find new info on the share youre looking at, but beware until you get a feel for the board and its posters. But then that advice holds true for any body's bulletin boards.
