The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) is an online site full of information related to movies, actors, television shows, production crew personnel, video games, and most recently, fictional characters featured in visual entertainment media. The site is a great for the movie or TV buff for checking up on his / her facts, my wife and I often sit watching the TV at home and end up asking each other what was that guy in before or where do I recognise her from. It has become the norm for me to quickly look it up online as I have the lap top set up next to my chair, and the site I always use is IMDb we put in the name of the film / programme we are watching and instantly get the full history of it then by clicking on the name of a cast member you get their biography / career history.
This has settled many arguments in our house and can make for some great fun when we have friends round competing to know who did what or who can list the most tiles an actor or actress has appeared in.
Very informative site very useful
