IMDB is THE place I go to for upcoming film information, actor and actress profiles and more.

~~~WEB SITE LAYOUT AND USABILITY~~~
The web site has a classic look. Nothing is flashy here at all; a simple, minimalistic design. At the top are tabs, but all you really need is the search bar. Type in any query: actor or actress name, film name, even character name and results will pop up!

~~~FEATURES~~~
The main reason I use this is to look up new film releases and also check up on a particular actor or actress. Sometimes in a film you see someone and you're like "Hey! Is that the person from..." and you're just eager to find out whether you've seen them before in something else and what that something else is.

Also, for me, I like to see what certain actors or actresses are in, and what upcoming films they might star in. I don't always do this, but there are a few actors and actresses I like; and I'm interested in new released they might be in.

Once you have your search result, for example for a film, there will be a list of actors and actresses in it, of which you can click on their individual profile for the list of films they've been in. Other information that's provided is the director, producers etc, the information of which you can expand if you wish to find out in such depth.

Near the bottom, they also have some similar movies you might be interested in which is nice as you can check some other recommendations out.

This site is called a movie database for a reason; it contains almost everything about movies. The top cinema grossing movies of all time, most academy award winners, and many statistics you would never think of finding out.

On the front page, they even have which actor or actress was born today!

As this site has a members area as well, there is a forum in which members can talk about films and other discussions. This can also be found at the bottom of any film or actor/actress profile. Being a member is FREE, although if you want to be part of the more extensive areas, you can join their premium service called imdbPRO for a fee.

~~~OVERALL~~~
Personally, this is a vital site for movie buffs and for anyone interesting in up and coming movies, actors and actresses in films and just as a reference site for almost ANY MOVIE. Of course there are movies they won't have extensive information on, mostly on foreign films. This is a shame, and they should include as much information as they can, but understandably it is not always possible.

If you are ever in need of any information about a film, either trivial or just out of interest, this is the site to go to.
