      Disadvantages

A bit slow but great site to earn a few bucks on the side without any real effort

Inbox Dollars is an online website which gives you a chance to earn money in return for various small favors, or to "Be rewarded for your online activities" as the websites slogan would say.

Inbox Dollars offers a $5.00 Sign on Bonus and requires you have at least $30.00 earned in your account before it sends out your check. The way to earn this money is to complete certain tasks such as reading the Paid Emails, and by reading that means clicking on them so you are taken to another link. You need to click so the site would register you looking at the advertisement . Just clicking on emails will earn you around two cents per email.

There are other ways to earn money as well and they are sorted in the following categories:

      - Cash Offers, "Earn cash for trying out new products and services".
The Cash Offers part of the website consists of 100 percent free offers, meaning you do not need to submit your credit card info or pay for anything. Usually these might include something like signing up for another survey website or getting an auto quote. Usually the money earned on these offers is not that great, from 25 cents to $2.00. Other than this you also have Trial Offers, for these type of offers you will sign up for a service and provide your billing information. Signing up for these doesn't mean paying, even if you do have to put in your credit card info. You will have free trial periods and as long as you remember to cancel the service before the end of the trial period you will not be charged. The money earned for these is more than the Free Offers, ranging from $3.00 to $15.00 per offer.

      - Cash Surveys, "Earn cash for sharing your opinion".
There are surveys you can take daily. You will be paid 50 cents per survey and entered for a chance to win $50,000.00 each time you complete one of the surveys. The down side is that the surveys usually take twenty minutes or so to complete and you get paid only if you qualify and meet all of the criteria, more often than not you will go through the majority of the survey before you are informed that you do not meet the requirements.

      - Cash Games, "Earn cash for playing your favorite games".
This part of the site is pretty nifty for those that love simple games such as Solitaire, Bejeweled, Monopoly, etc. The first time you start the Cash Games Inbox Dollars will give you four bucks or so to start you off, after that you are responsible for making your own deposits if you want to play for money. Its sort of like online casino, with more variety. If you are good at games and can beat the competition those four bucks might earn you some money, and if not oh well no loss on your part.

      - Cash Shopping, "Earn cash for shopping online".
If you often shop online this is probably a good section to check out before you make your purchases. Their offers are, depending on the store, earning from 0.4% to 10% cash back. Some of the partners participating in these offers are: Wal-mart, Dell, EBay, Macy's, Banana Republic, Best Western, GAP, and many more.

      - Insurance Center, "Save more on your insurance".
This is just a one time jig. If you want you can try and save money on your insurance. That's it.

      - Referral Center, "Earn cash for referring your friends".
Pretty self explanatory, get a friend to sign up and earn money off it. You get 10% of your friends qualified earnings, without any money being taken away from their end.

All in all Inboxdollars.com has potential to make you some money. It is a good site and it is not a scam, i have received two checks from them already. And have just earned enough for the third one!
It does take a while though, but considering the lightness of work its not a big deal.
If there is an issue with an offer and money coming through they are pretty helpful and diligent when it comes to sorting stuff out. If you are interested in earning money online in any of the above ways or something similar don't pass up Inbox Dollars.

      UPDATE:
I have actually requested the check from inboxdollars.com after writing this and have learned a new bit of information. The payout is $30.00, there is a $3.00 processing fee for the check so you really get only 27.00. Anyway, this time around they offered me this:
If I hold off the request and reach $40.00 within the next 30.00 they would waive the processing fee. $10.00 in a month isn't bad but due to the fact that I am moving and what not I declined and requested my check anyway.
As soon as I did they informed me that i got a $3.00 bonus for reaching the payout. So rather than starting at 0 I started back up at $3.00...not a big deal but not as dreadful as seeing $0.00 either!
All in all more brownie points for inboxdollars.com

A solid site for internet earnings

I have been a member of InboxDollars.com for over a year now and have just requested my first $30 check. Yes, it has taken me quite a while to get to this point, but I am not a very active user, so I can't complain. InboxDollars gives you the opporunity to earn through reading emails, shopping online, taking surveys, playing games and completing offers. Currently, I only participate in the emails and offers, so my earning potential is limited. I have heard of other members who earn $30 or more each month, so it is possible to make a decent amount of money on this site, but not unless you are very active.

Here is a breakdown of the approximate earnings:

Emails are $0.02 each but they only send about five paid emails to your account per day, so by reading emails alone, it will take quite a while to reach payout.
Surveys are usually $0.50 - $1, and depending on your demographic it can be difficult to qualify.
Offers are anywhere from $0.10 upward (I've seen some for over $10.00), but the free ones are usually lower paying (unter $2).
Games cost a bit of money to start playing, and then winning amounts vary, as it is through a third-party site.
Shopping gives you a percentage of cash back, which is a great way to add an automatic discount to products you were going to buy online anyway.

If you are interested in making money through internet activity, I would suggest signing up for InboxDollars, but understand that your earnings are directly related to how active you are on the site, and you won't get rich just by participating.

I have been with inboxdollars for several months and it has taken me approx 500 emails to get my first check. You have to wait until you $30 before you can get any money. I justclicked the button and it said $3 is going for processing and so the check will be $27 instead of $30. Also if I canell before the ckeck is mailed, I will lose the money. I will wait until i get the check in the mail, and then I will cacel my account. They cheated me out appro 150 emails (the $3 dollars).

Good program just not much money in it.

Inboxdollars is fine for some occasional gas money, but let's face it, if you really want to make some money on the internet, you have to spend a little first.

For the same effort and time you spend making pennies, you can make lots of dollars, and it cost less to start than most people spend at the grocery each week.

The old saying is right. You get what you pay for.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

I have been joining paid to read mail programs for a couple of months now, mainly because a few of my friends have joined and sent me the referal mail. Among those I've joined have been mailclicker and sendmoreinfo. I was pleased with their service and was receiving on average one email a week. A few months or so ago I joined inboxdollars.com after a friend recommended the site, "Why not" I thought! It was easy enough to join. I answered a few basic questions about myself e.g. address, date of birth, sex and marital status. Then all I had to do was select between 1 and 12 subjects that interest me from a list they gave me. These determine which companies send you email. Obviously the more subjects you chose, the more mail you will receive! When you are sent an email from inboxdollars.com it will contain a link that you must click on. There will also be a bit of information about the advertiser. When you open the page you will be asked for your password (chosen when joining), this confirms you have read the email. An advert or website will then be displayed. You get paid 5 cents (yes unfortunately the program is American, but I imagine you guessed that from it's name). This soon mounts up because you will receive around 3 emails a week (well I do, but it will depend on what subjects you chose and of course how many you chose). When you join you are also given a unique referal URL (web page address). This allows you to recommend the scheme to others and get paid if those you recommended join from your URL. You will then get paid 2 cents for every email they receive. I'm not to keen on the payout system, but hey I'm not one to complain :). There are two methods of payment - cheque or paypal (an American scheme which seems to work well, but you must have a credit card). A cheque will be sent to you when you have $30 in your account. There is a $2 processing fee, which I assume will be
deducted before the cheque is written. You will also be charged a small amount by your bank for cashing it in (because it is in a foreign currency). Cheques are paid twice a month. You can login to your account from the inboxdollars homepage. Here you can view the amount in you account and how you came to have earnt that money, the subjects you have chopse (you have the option of changing them as well), member news, top referals (people who have referred HUGE numbers of others, one guy has referred about 10,000 people!), payment history and also offers that inboxdollars may be of interest to you. When you log in to inbox, another page, www.netflip.com also opens, this can be annoying at times. I used to think this was one of the better email schemes, but the number of emails is now somewhat eratic. I receive possibly 5 a month. Which is not a lot, compared with the 20 a month I get from net-4-biz. I would recommend you join that and give inbox a miss. However, if you already have an inboxdollars account, stick with it. They've just launched a new scheme - inboxdollar points. Basically you go to the offers page and sign up to some clubs, mainly junk aimed ytowards Americans, but you can cancel the emails etc as soon as you have your payment. You are paid with inboxdollar points which currently exchange at 10000 = $1 Don't worry though, they're pretty easy to come by. For example, sign up to a mailing list and gte 4500. The offers generally give between 2500 and 30000. I would definitely suggest you use it to bump up your account. Get that cheque and then scarper.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

I have been a member of inbox dollars, for about six months now, and i only recieve one email a month if i'm lucky. Joining inbox dollars could not be easier. You will have to answer a few questions and provide some information about yourself. Things like: *D.O.B *Name *Address *Email address *Sex *Marital status When you have done this, you are then asked to pick some interestes, from a list they provide. The more you tick, the more emails you recieve. When you recieve an email from inbox dollars, it will tell you that it is a paid email, and to have your account credited, you must click on the link, that is provided, so that the advertiser knows you have read the email. Everytime you recieve a paid email, and you read it, you will recieve 5 cents. You can referre friends to the site. You will then recieve 2 cents, everytime he or she, reads an email from inbox dollars. Referring a friend, is simple. How to do it is clearly marked on the web site. All you have to do, is follow the link. The payments can be sent in two ways. You can request a cheque, but you must have at least $30. The other way is through Pay Pal. You will need to register at Pay pal for this, and you will need a credit card. If you request a cheque, it will be sent to you, in American currency. Your bank will also then ask for a charge, because it is not our currency. A bit of a downer there, but never mind. You can log on and check all aspects of your account, by visiting the web site. You can: *Check your balance *Check how many emails you have recieved *Check how many people you have referred *How many emails your referals have recieved *Payment history *Apply for inbox dollar pionts Inbox dollar points, is a new system they have introduced. Click on the link, start earning inbox dollar points. This will then take you to a page, full of thing
s you can sign up for. Each deal, is worth a different amount of points, which once signed up for, will be credited to your account. You can sign up for things like: *Credit cards *Cds *Dvds *Sweepstakes *Holiday discounts *Book clubs *Credit checks All of these will help boost your money making. www.inboxdollars.com give it a go.

            Advantages

            Disadvantages

I have been a member with inbox dollars for over a year now and the emails are few and far between. They pay members five cents per emails that they receive and one cent per email that your referalls receive. Some of the emails have the option of signing up for something where you will get an additional amount of money. The company states that even if you select all of the interests it will be rare to receive more than one email per day and this is definately true more like rare to receive one email a month. An advantage of this programme is that they pay out once your account reaches ten dollars if you have a pay pal account otherwise it is thirty dollars for a cheque. Payments are normally made withing five business days of a member requesting payment. However, they only payout in dollars. This is not a great scheme and it is unlikely that you will make much money out of it. They do not offer only ways to make money such as paid searches or homepages.

I am registered with many pay for email companies and this is one of the best (although there are a couple which are better). I receive around 1 email per week and you click on the link within it and your account is credited with 5 cents. If you refer somebody, you get 2 cents every time they receive an email. When you register you are given a personalised link that you can pass on to friends or put in your emails to generate more money. The eamils they send are based loosely on the interests you select when you join (up to a maximum of 12). There are 2 options for payment - either by cheque or have it deposited into your bank account. The minimum balances you must have for these are $30 and $10 respectively. You can join this program from anywhere in the world but the emails do tend to be from American companies and the only currency they pay in is US dollars so you will be charged a fee by your bank. There is nothing whatsoever to lose by joining this program, especially if you refer lots of friends so I definitely recommend it.

This is a true pay to read email company and really does work. Like all of them your get paid between $0.02 and $0.05 to read emails. They are sent to you like a normal email and included inside is a description of the company that are advertising and a link to click on. You click on the link and up pops the website of inboxdollars. You enter in your password to show you have read the email and then the advertiser site opens up. Its so simple and it does work because I have had tons of this company. Your also get so much from your referrels so its worth it that you get your mates to sign up with them to and then that earns you an extra bit of cash. Alex
