Newest Review: ... and put downs, to classical insults, to insults of particular countries . There is bound to be something for everyone here. My own personal favourite part of the site is the Historical Insults section, which offers up some colourful and rather elaborate insults that I really like - and they sound so much more eloquent than simply calling someone a dickhead! The traditional arab curse ' May your left ear wither and fall into your right pocket. ' is one I particularly like. I also rather like this one 'The Lord strike him with madness and blindness. May the heavens empty upon him thunderbolts and the wrath of the Omnipotent burn itself unt... more

I'm normally a very polite person, and would rarely ever dream of being deliberately rude or insulting to anybody - I just wasn't raised that way . Just because I smile nicely and take it on the chin doesn't mean I'm not secretly thinking evil thoughts and brewing up a sarcastic comment in my head . I also have a little bit of a fascination with other languages, and being a little bit immature, the first words I like to learn in any language are the rude ones . The site itself is very ...  Read the complete review

There is a surprisingly large amount that are genuinely witty, which is impressive because a site like this could quickly descend to stupid and offensive put downs that aren't actually any fun to read. Some comments by historical figures also show a fascinating insight into political relations of the times. For example Charles de Gaulle described his relationship with Churchill as follows: "When I am right, I get angry. Churchill gets angry .  Read the complete review

Help, I think I'm a degenerate. Not content with sharing with you the strange lifestyles and habits found within Towniehaters (http://www.towniehaters.com), and the multinational explicit content located at http://www.notam.uio.no/~hcholm/altlang/stat.html, home of The Alternative Dictionary's swearwords and obscenities; I bring you this: Insults.net. Another site in the long(ish) line of sweary, kinda nasty sites, the site pledges to bring you "some interesting, informative, humorous, educational, you name it - insults, insulting quotes, sayings, put-downs and acidic quotations!". Nonsensical, of course - but somehow, intriguing nonetheless. I ...  Read the complete review
