I promise you this site will make you laugh your head off and it'll be one you'll want to share with other people. Its a large database of insults and insulting sayings for every occasion covering everything from Shakespearean insults right up to modern day Yo Mamma comebacks. Its superb, and could prove invaluable the next time the mother in law comes to stay...lol.

Anyway, the site.

Insults.net is a site dedicated to bringing you a whole bunch of insults, putdowns, witty quotations and general ways to slag off the world in hundreds of different ways. I love it!! The site is arranged into various categories so that you can find the kind of thing you are looking for more easily. The categories to choose from are:

~Around The World~

A section devoted to acidic comments made on various countries around the world. These are organised under a further sub heading for ease of access. Hmmm, apparently "A demon took a monkey to wife - the results, by the grace of God, was the English" according to an Indian saying...

~Chatups/Putdowns~

Chatup lines and their putdowns for those looking for something a little more witty than "bugger off". Some of these are just great. Again they are organised under various subcategories, but I can't really see the point in this case.

~Classical Insults~

Umm yeah, I see the need for these. I think I recognise something like 25% of these as being insults, the rest lose me completely. They are put down and sarcasms from ancient Greece and Rome, from the pens of Homer and such like...and I don't get half of them. Still interesting though and some great ones if not exactly insults. "Old age is by its very nature talkative" or "old men are but walking hospitals"...great!

~Especially For Kids~

Very hit and miss childish humour. "Your face look like you have been using it as a doorstop" "You
r face looks like not only have you been using it as a doorstop, but the door kept on going"...that kind of thing.

~Everyday Insults~

The best section on the site. 10 categories of insults to drop into everyday conversation, most of them pretty damn funny if you ask me. Great stuff!!

~Expressions~

Loads of expressions and funny sayings organised under a wide range of subjects for you to use. I can't wait to describe someone as having boobs like spaniels ears...hehehe.

~Graves and Epitaphs~

Anyway I think you are getting the picture. Other categories inclue Shakespeare, Yo mamma, Political Insults, Miscellaneous, Sport...and others, so you should be able to find an insult for every occasion here. The site itself is well designed and laid out so navigation around it should be a breeze. Everything is categorised and subsectioned, there is an alphabetical list and a search engine too so no problems with navigation either. The pages load quickly because there is no heavy reliance upon graphics and flashy animations, and although the site does maintain a professional look it does look quite polished. You can also go for a random insult with the click of a button or hit the swearing section for a bunch of sections on swearing in many different languages. Delightful.

Personally I think its all very funny and I can't wait to try some of these out on some Aussie friends of mine because they love an argument rofl. Its a fun site and well worth a look just to have a giggle even if you never intend using anything here. Great fun.
