Advantages: Money for nothing, Good way of rewarding regular clients for already low prices, Can claim ipoints for quite good gifts

Disadvantages: Easily misused

I have only been with ipoints for about one year and have built up quite a few points. The amount has enabled me to get a cd, £20 vouchers from major high street stores, and a couple of other things. There are people that sign up to things including myself just to get extra points e.g. sign upto flutter.com and get 100 extra points.

As with most sites over the internet, you have to keep signing into the site, with ipoints.co.uk, you dont have to. This is basically due to that you are always signed in unless you are on a shared computer.

*Where do I earn ipoints*

There are many different partnerships that you can earn ipoints through. There will soon be more than 70 partnerships with ipoints, and this is due to webrewards mergering with ipoints. So if you are a member with webrewards, you have to convert your webrewards into ipoints by 31st July 2001. you get 3 ipoints for every webreward.

The companies that have a partnership are under 14 separate topic headings. The headings are as below, but only a few partner companies;

Books, CD's and DVD's
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
>BOL.com - 10 ipoints for every £10 spent
>101cd.com - 3 ipoints for every £10 spent
>Just Good Books - 70 ipoints for each successful application
>eTSP.co.uk - 70 ipoints for each successful application
Auctions and Betting
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

>Flutter.com - 60 ipoints when register and first bet placed
>William hill - 100 ipoints when you open an account

Business
~~~~~~~~~
>ilearn.to - 50 ipoints for registration and 50 on completion of ILA
>Netstationers.co.uk - 5 ipoints for orders between £25-£50, 10 ipoints for orders between £51-£100, & 20 ipoints for orders over £100
>VistaPrint.com - 25 ipoints for first free order.
Communications
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

>Atlantic Telecom - 20 ipoints on registration & 5% back of the bills in ipoints
>Equital
k.co.uk - 15 ipoints on registration
>Genie.com - 100 ipoints for every phone
>ipoints ISP - 2 ipoints for every hour
>Lineone - 50 ipoints on registration
>MrAdGood - 5 ipoints for signing up
>newsplayer.com - 200 ipoints
etc, etc

and the list goes on, and on. Slight exageration, as there are only another 6 categories. However, what do you do with the ipoints once you have got them? This all may sound great by all of these points, but what are they worth? Well, i am going to tell you.

Now this list is longer than what you can earn ipoints with so I will not place them into the 10 categories. This is because your ipoints can be redeamed in 89 ways, as below are some examples;

>High street vouchers for 150 ipoints which gets you a £10 voucher for places like M & S, boots, currys, PC World, etc.

>Claim cds upto the value of £13 from 101cd.com for only 200 ipoints

>There are gifts and days out. The list is endless, but to beleive this, you have to visitthe site.

*So what is the Catch*

Well there is not. This ipoint.co.uk site is just as genuine as Ciao and Dooyoo. Although I think this site gains too easy money for not purcahsing anything or infact doing anything. They do send you the goods quite quick as well. You are only waiting about a week for things like gift vouchers.

I can understand it though refering people to sign up to gain 10 ipoints to the referee and reward points for purchases that you make from already low prices.

I have made only a couple of purchases and gained ipoints quite quick, but this sort of reward scheme can easily be miss-used by signing upt
o partners just to get ipoints in order to get cash.

I am keeping with ipoints as it is a good idea, and I do make a few purcahses through it partner companies.

I would still reccomend people to join as it is a good insentive for people to buy over the internet.

I am struggling to earn enough points. I admit I have joined the freebies for the sake of it, but still struggling despite getting a head start with the transfer of my Surfmiles into iPoints.
