Advantages: you can get good rewards, The scheme is real

Disadvantages: My ipoints are taking forever to be credited to me, Bad customer service

Sometimes you get some, Sometimmes you don't. Sometimes you wait for ages and get none, Sometimes when you're not expecting it you get loads. Thats Ipoints for you and i have wrote this opinion ainmed to bring you the truth.

If you are looking for a scheme that will help you get rich quick then this really isn't it. I like to use Ipoints as a way to save up so that I can treat myself. Unfortunately that first treat is so close yet always so far away and i'm starting to get a little bothered checking my points every day to see if they have bothered to give me some. Let me explain further..

Ipoints is a site where the ipoints are the currency. The points are worth prizes which are really great, but priced at a ridiculous amount. You can get a Widescreen Tv or go on an action packed rock climbing weekend all for free, But my guess is that you'd be too old for either of these by the time you managed to save and im sure they'd suddenly dissapear and offer you a free ipoints pen to say sorry for the inconvenience.

Now i have been waiting for a £10 marks and Spencers voucher worth 140 points but unfortunately i only have 100. Whilst this is worth a cinema ticket, I really want the voucher but have been waiting for days to get my owed points. I emailed them about this and they mailed back within 2 days but I could tell it was just a standard "sent to everyone" email. It went along the lines of "sorry but its not our fault.. its the other company. They all have different times between registrations and giving you the ipoints." This brings me to the gaining of Ipoints.

Ipoints are mainly gained when you purchase something online. Each company that are advertising on ipoints will offer you a certain amount for each pound you spend or card you sign up with. There are also free ipoints but these are few so if you don't buy online then this site isn't all that good. I
have recentely just found a great site which is myoffers.co.uk. After signing up with them (go to free ipoints and you will see it listed) they offer 1 ipoint for every questionnaire completed and i now have 47. This is great because not only am i then entered into 47 competitions i have ipoints too without spending a penny. This is where my problem is though. I haven't seen a single one of the points from myoffers yet and no matter how much i email ipoints they really don't seem to care that much. It's my problem apparentely and whilst i sit here awaiting those vital points im really starting to feel a little fed up.

Ipoints is a great scheme if you want to get little things like a mobile phone top-up voucher or a condom holder (dont ask me..) but otherwise, don't hold your breath. They seem to be taking on more than they can handle and i really feel that they need to take more notice of their customers rather than just fobbing us off. I know people who have got things from this site and I would love it if things were that simple for me too. A great site with a great idea.. Shame that i never see my rewards.

I love the analogy!
Just a suggestion : join Webrewards now (they're closing on 31 July) - join up with Lightspeed consumer panel (for which you get 100 Webrewards credited in 10 days time) and then you can get this plus 10 WRs for join up plus 2WR/day for visiting the Superdrug site all converted to ipoints (at a rate of 3WR=1 ipoints). Hence, your missing 40 points plus a bit extra... (they're also very prompt in responding if you don't get your points in time).
Good op - Dione
