Advantages: Haven't found any yet., Is this the interstellar superhighway?, Wecome to the other side

Disadvantages: Have you got my points?, I'm desperate for points, What do points make - nothing!

There is no two ways about it this is a gripe.

I am thoroughly cheesed off with these people and I certainly cannot recommend their site or in fact being a member of ipoints. Here comes the story see what you think.

Last October I bought a toshiba television (see article Toshiba 46WHO8B - Wow!!!)from BEDirect. At the same time I decided to join ipoints and then purchased the TV. This company is a member of ipoints and I was looking forward in about a month to be able to get a couple of videos for nothing with the ipoints earned from buying this product. Well you guessed it I haven't.

I did wait the required time I even filled in some more details on the ipoints site to earn an extra 10 points and these were duly assigned to me so I knew the system was working. After a couple of months I thought I'd enquire as to where the missing points were. Big mistake.

I received a nice reply that said they would not be credited until after the company put it through and this could take up to one clear calender month. Something which I knew but I thought well OK perhaps I was a bit quick, as only six weeks had gone passed!
Then there was the quirky bit. I decided to check the site and Lo and Behold my points level was not up in the 190's as I expected, it was not even up to the 10 I knew I had it was at ZERO!!

Well not to give up on such an exciting option I duly got in touch with them again. I did receive an acknowdgement from Tom Quinn on the 10th. December saying he would look into it, but still nothing has happened. Is ipoints truly inter dimensional and is this the black hole that all freebies disappear into. Perhaps Tom himself has disappeared down it. Perhaps it is alien invasion plan of a subtle nature to undermine the Internet and perhaps one day will we all be sucked down it. Arghhh I feel I am being dragged down it no...

...Oh dear I have come up on the other side of the inter-dimensional highway. Sorry about that, black holes are weird objects. Anyway on this side of the galaxy it seems Tom Quinn exists side by side with ipoints and having spoken to him again (via interstellar mail) he confirmed he was still looking into it and just as I was making arrangements to come back to normal space he sent another holographic message saying that he'd found my points and they would be added after 5th. February. Anyone know what the 5th. February is and don't say yadseuT..!hgraa

Oh dear - Tom Quinn has always been more than helpful as far as I'm concerned. Oops!

Excellent op. Sorry to hear of the problems you've had with them. I've found them to be ok, myself, and all points owed to me have been in my account within 5 days of completing the task which gave me them.

Maybe you've just been unlucky.
