This site is an excellent follow up to items you might have seen on ITN news. The format says 'ITN', particularly the blue and white colour scheme. Topics included are listed on the left and you can easily find what you want from here. Infact, the whole site is very simple to navigate and not nearly as complex as the BBC site. I find the ITN site well laid out with the main news right in front of you when you go onto the site. The categories of news are easily navigated with the buttons on the left. I get the ITN 24 hour news channel on cable, and is good to be able to follow up stories on the web site. Another useful feature if you must have the most up to the minute news, is the ITN News ticker, which runs the headlines in a small window on your desktop, while allowing you to leave the site to do other things. When comparing the TV news of the BBC and ITN there is a difference in style but content is more or less on par with each other. The same is not replicated online. The content ITN website is dramatically less than that of the BBC. The nativagation is now more simliar to that of the BBC, but there was a time when I spent five minutes just to try and get the news story which I wanted. The registration is to get news sent to you via e-mail. A wonderful innovation I thought, until I signed up with them and found either no news or five copies of the same news landing on my desktop.
