Advantages: earn and learn

Disadvantages: it takes time to earn

We all like to earn a little extra cash whenever we can so I thought today I’d write about this site. I first joined it pays to learn way back in 2000 and like all reward sites you imagine your going to make lots of money quickly. The thing is your never going to get something for nothing and with all reward sites you do lots of work for a tiny amount. I don’t like to join anything unless I get paid, so sometimes I try out a site and if it’s not paying will delete my account, this way I make a few pennies a day, sometimes pounds if you get a survey by email, from the collective of the sites I earn from. This insures I can work from home and choose my own hours, as I like the freedom of being self-employed. Anyway I digress.

When I first joined this site I thought it was great, playing the quizzes to earn cash and thinking it would be an easy way to earn, but there are a few rules to this site which when I first joined I have to admit I never read. I mean it’s not often you read through the terms and conditions of a site is it?
So, earning hardly anything I deleted my account and left. About a year ago I joined another site which was advertising this one with a banner ad and I thought I’d have a look and actually read through the rules of the site, which I really should have when I joined previously. Not only did it explain how to earn cash but there had been some changes made to the site, which I thought were for the better and I joined again.
This time I am making cash and happy to stay with the site as I put my earnings from this site towards the £5 a month it costs me to donate to the Centrepoint which is a youth homeless centre in in London where runaways and homeless children can go and stay, get fed, and pointed in the right direction for education and help.

HOW TO JOIN
--------------------
Joining is quick and easy just type in the address into the search engine and you’ll be taken to the site. Or you join by going to http://www.itpaystolearn.com/default.asp?ref_id=AP S037
To join enter your name, address, password and email address. You will then be sent an email to confirm you’re a member of the site and can then begin to start to earn cash, the cash earned is in Dollars but like me if you have a paypal account you can save it up in there and get it changed by paypal and transferred into your back for the direct debit to your chosen charity if you donate.
Or you can save it up and get a cheque sent to you.
Once you have joined you will be asked to fill in a list of interests, this is so that you can be sent V-mails for which you get paid to read.

THE HOMEPAGE
------------------------
This is the first page you come to when you log on, it is set out in an easy to understand way, with a list on the left of your account details, how to earn on IPTL (itpaystolearn) , incentives, advertising, referrals and assistance. I shall go through these to explain how it all works.
The pages load up quickly and it is easy to understand, I do have to admit I spend a bit of time on here playing the quizzes, as not only am I earning a little for my good cause but I’m learning things too, which can’t be bad.

HOW TO EARN
----------------------
It’s easy to start to earn on this site, but don’t expect to get rich quickly as there isn’t a site on the net which will let you do that. First of all you have to take the quizzes. This is where you find out just how cleaver you are or not, in my case as the questions range from beginner to advanced.
There are three rows of subjects you can choose from, beginners, intermediate and advanced.
The subjects are:-
Electica - Which is a mixture of all the subjects.
Science
History
Maths
Spelling
Music
Literature
Bible
Sport
Definitions
Geography
Animal Kingdom
Arts
By the Numbers
Famous People
Famous Words
Famous Places
U.S Constitution
Anatomy and Medicine
Law and Order
World Religions
Media and Politics

As you can see there’s quite a good choice, which if your like me and love to get stuck into a quiz, you’ll be entertained for ages. I play all the levels and sometimes surprise myself at the knowledge which is stored in my memory that I can dredge out when posed with a difficult question. Sometimes I have to admit to being ashamed off getting some really simple questions wrong too which I really should know the answers to. But it’s all good fun.
As your earning all the time, each time you finish a quiz you’ll be shown how many you got right and how many quiz points you have earned. You can then decide whether or not you want to bank the quiz points, which are put in your quiz bank turned into quiz bucks.

Reading the V-mails also earns you cash into your cash bank, there is a quiz bank and a cash bank, which is where I got confused the first time around.
Let me explain - You have to earn 500 quiz points before you can get the cash into your cash bank for reading the V-mails, which means you have to play the quizzes before you can earn, this 500 points has to be earned every month so there’s no point in joining just to read the V-mails otherwise you won’t earn anything. You have to play the quizzes. I think this is to stop people getting multiple accounts and cheating, which is fair in my opinion.
The V-mails get sent to your account page and when you log in you will be told you have V-mails to read. At the side of each V-mail is a price which can be 1 cent or 0.5 cent, this is what you are going to get paid for reading that V-mail, but remember if you haven’t played the quizzes to earn 500 points that month you’ll get nothing.

Accepting offers can also earn you cash, this is a page where you can join other sites for a small cash bonus, the amount will show up in your cash bank a few days after you have registered for the sites of your choice, there are a few to choose from so it’s worth having a look at this page.

Referrals is another good way of boosting your funds and you can add a banner to your web page if you have one, or send emails to let your friends know how to get to the site. This will earn you 1 quiz point for every quiz your referral takes and this is added to your quiz bank each month, This isn’t a lot as it’s only quiz points not cash points, the quiz bucks can be spent on the site.

QUIZ POINTS AND BUCKS
--------------------------------------
Thus is where it can get a bit confusing, the quiz points are separate to the cash points.
Quiz points are earned by playing the quizzes or from your referrals, these are then turned into quiz bucks which can be spent on the site. You can buy V-mails which earn you cash, you can buy referrals which earn you more quiz points and you can buy a gold membership, where you get more benefits or extra cash and points.
You can even send other members donations of quiz bucks so there’s things you can do with your points to earn extra cash, if you keep at it.
GETTING PAID
-----------------------
This is the most interesting bit.
When you first join itpaystolearn you can choose the option of registering your email address to get paid by paypal. If you haven’t got a paypal account you can set one up when you register with this site. If you choose this option you will get paid straight into your account every time you have earned $1 but if your not sure about this way of payment you can wait until you have saved up $25 and get a check sent to you.
I prefer the paypal method as you don’t have to worry about getting your check which will be in dollars put into your bank over here. I have been paid from this site and although it’s not loads of bucks, It helps me to donate a little to charity which I pay £5 each month, but every now and again this site covers the cost for me.
You can also choose the option to save up the money in your account until you have reached a certain amount before requesting payment.
I save it up so that I can then pay my donation to the homeless charity I support, but you could earn a little extra cash for what ever you need if you take the time to make it work.

Best wishes
