We all like the opportunity of getting our hands on some free money and although there are many such sites around offering us just that, there are actually very few that deliver what they promise.
But today I want to tell you about one that does deliver and not only that it’s fun as well, yes that’s right a fun site offering you free cash….

www.itpaystolearn.com or IPTL in its abbreviated form is basically a quiz site, but a quiz site that wants to pay you for the privilege of taking its quizzes.

REGISTRATION

A pretty simple and painless procedure, requiring the usual basic information and also your interests etc.
You then receive your username, this is unfortunately designated to you in the form of letters and numbers, but the password is your own choice.

You are also asked how you want your cash, you can either save it up, by PayPal or by cheque. Don’t worry if you are not sure as you can change this option at any time on your profile.

Now before you all run over to IPTL there is one thing that I need to tell you, this is a US site, therefore all monies and funds are of course in US format, but then who cares as long as it pays something.

You can either register as a child (12 or under) or an adult (13 and over), so even the juniors can have a bash at this one and learn at the same time…

Once a member and logged in you will see all the various links at the left hand side, so in order to get started in your money grabbing quest, you need to hit “take quizzes”.

The Quizzes

Each quiz gives you 10 questions, and each question has 3 possible answers in multiple-choice format.
You get 30 s
econds to choose your answer and can change your mind as often as you want within these 30 seconds, if you fail to answer in this time it counts as a wrong answer obviously!.

The actual quizzes are divided up into three levels of difficulty, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, under each you will see all the various topics available for you to take a quiz on, here is the beginners choices:

Animal Kingdom
Literature
Bible

Definitions
Geography

By The numbers
Famous Words

Famous Places
US Constitution

All of these also have an intermediate and advanced level as well as added subjects in these too.

There are lots of sets of questions under each topic, some as many as 30 or more, some as few as 15.

The levels of quizzes also offer different point values these being:

Cash Points are awarded as follows:

1 Point for each attempted but incorrect answer.
3 Points for each correct Beginner answer.
4 Points for each correct Intermediate answer.
5 Points for each correct Advanced answer.

So lets say you have just completed a beginners Math quiz (4x12 being an example of the simplicity of questions), and you scored all 10 right giving you 30 cash points, you are then given the option to either bank your points and statistics or not to bank, obviously with a high score you bank them but say you only had 3 right then don’t bother!

Banking means they are added to your knowledge bank and Active Stats, which I will tell you about shortly, but obviously the more points you bank the more cash you will end up with so it’s worth even banking 6 or 7 right unless you are a true perfectionist, erm not me I just want the money!!!!

Once you have complete
d all the sets of questions under one topic it will vanish from the available quizzes, so you simply move on to something else…

Well here is the sting in the tail! If you choose to be a free member the most points you can earn in one month are 4,500, this in $ terms was last month $4.04. 1000 Cash Points to equal one US dollar
You can see at a glance in the Knowledge bank link exactly how many points you have accumulated and this is updated instantly after each quiz, the Knowledge Bank also displays any earnings you have had from referrals or other earnings too.

That isn’t much is it? But there is a solution you can purchase a “Gold Membership”, this costs $19.95 for 3 moths, $36.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for a year.

This allows you to earn, earn, earn, yes unlimited earnings so then the amount you earn is entirely up to the amount of quizzes you take etc.

If you wish you could save your monthly free membership earnings until you reach $19,95 and buy a gold membership out of them as oppose to using a credit/debit card.

IPTL operates a 10-generation referral system; you receive 1 cash point for every quiz a direct referral of yours takes. Brian your going to get rich from me then, hehe, however if you are a gold member and you accumulate more than 5000 points then you get 2 points for each quiz they take..wooooo, not a huge amount but it all adds up.

There are also other ways to increase your income, 1.Accept Offers, 2.Write Quizzes, 3.Answer Surveys, 4.Read emails.

1-Accept Offers, this is totally useless to us over here as they are all for the US, so you can benefit whatsoever from this section!

2- Write Quizzes, Ok so you think you are an expert in something, well then you can submit your own quizzes, a word of warning they need to be of an extremely high standard, require no editing and as many sets of questions as possible from beginner to advanced.

If IPTL decide they like them and accept them then you could earn 50 cents for each set, so a good potential earner if you’re that way inclined.

3-Answer Surveys, from time to time you “could”, (I say that as I have yet to get any), receive surveys tailored to your chosen interests, these offer from 100- 1000 cash points each, remember when you register to tick the extra earning opportunities or modify it from your profile to be eligible for these.

4-Read Emails- Again as a above but if you receive any paid to read emails you get a set 50 cash points per mail, again I have had none as with the surveys but then again I have only been on the site just over a month, so early days yet!

Right you have slaved away and accumulated a nice amount and want your cash, well this is only paid out at the end of each month, the payment methods are by Pay Pal or Cheque, PayPal you need $30 and will lose $1 for fees and cheque is $50 with $3 removed for fees.

One point to remember is you may also lose
more if you request a cheque as UK banks often take quite a bit for processing foreign currency, so PayPal again is the best option if you can do it that way.

They also have their own store where you can exchange cash points for goods but this I will pass over as it’s the money we want isn’t it!!


SO IS IT WORTH A GO???

Well I think so especially if you upgrade to a Gold Member eventually, the quizzes themselves are so varied that there is something for everyone and even if you get it wrong you can do it again and again, the beginners are all very easy but the other levels do get harder believe me!

The only downside is with it being US based a lot of questions in each topic are relating to this, so if you don’t know a lot about US sports and places etc then your not going to get these right first time around, but I just guess and still bank my points even with 7 or so right!.

It does not take too long to actually complete the quizzes either, I can get say 800 cash points in an hour from only the beginner section so not bad at all.

The other thing you will find is it is quite addictive; it’s fun to do and even more fun to see your cash points going up all the time.

There are enough quizzes to last you for a very long time believe me, and after each month you get to retake quizzes you previously completed the month before, not as many times as at first but still enough to boost your points.

I actually really enjoy this site and the fact I am earning at the same time certainly adds an incentive to my quest to learn!
